I am here because of procrastination and becuse it seems so sad and desolate without anyone.
I'm just posting for the heck of it, and we can reminisce about when this board was full of life.

Yea, I loved reading the comparisons. It was so funny, how Lovely-chan dissed 4Kids with her awesome sarcastic comments. I was so disappointed when she stopped. T.T We were almost done with them too.

But then there was RGPs!! That was awesome. I still laugh when I reread them.

You know, somewhat on topic, but I was looking through some of my old internet stuff today and I noticed that I NEVER finish anything I start. Not even ONCE. Short fic's (CCU Academy, and some others on here,) rpgs, the comparisons on this site...

GAH! I miss my old online life, sure IRL can be fun but I totaly miss comming here to read things on a daily basis.

I've joined other message boards as of late and still can't manage to fall in love with them like I did SKU.

I agree with essentially everything said here. I really miss SKU. Last month, I think it was, I went on, and afterwards actually started crying about how much I missed it. :sweatdrop:
So to ease the pain I played "Shaman King; Funbari Spirits" in Japanese.

Unless you visit Mankin-Trad, or have a crazy good memory, you probably don't remember me. But heck, if I show up now, something must be up. Other places I've been (if any of you can remember them), Pojo's SK section, Shaman Online, Shaman King Nation (who had faster, but less detailed, "dub cuts"), The Great Spirit, and Mankin-Trad. Yes, I've been around since the begining of time.

Yes, Shaman King fandom is almost dead, internet wide. That is until March 2008.

So the remaining fandom is surrounding the scanlations Mankin-Trad (http://mankin-trad.net) produces on a weekly basis. Which we will finish up the remainin chapters to Volume 32 before March. So, if haven't followed the manga in a while, nows a great chance to catch up. And I'll be following all the news right out of Japan.

We'll be making a new news portal website in the upcoming month, which will just have info about Shaman King. Info right from Japan, and info about SK in the USA (and from around the world). It's our base for rebuilding the SK community, internet-wide. So when March comes along, we'll be ready.

I'm not saying it's a replacement for SKU, but, I'm still a huge fan of Shaman King. Nothing has changed over these last 5 years, still running SK websites, still pushing the fandom. I say, don't pack your bags yet.

Also, another random news you may have known, but I just didn't feel like searching for. 4Kids has officially given up on SK, and may not even own the license for it anymore. Their official URL, shamanking.tv has expired and has not been renewed. SK has also been completely removed from 4kids.tv. The corporate website has an error so I can't check that site right now. Back when SK was licensed by 4Kids, the license was orginally held until 2010. 4Kids may have cancelled out the contract early to prevent paying additional licensing fees for the next 2 years. Shaman King anime, video games, toys, card games, (everything besides the manga) .etc, may be unlicensed at this time. Not 100% sure, but the chances of SK anime ever returning in any form is basically 0%.

Some good news, some bad news (maybe? depends on your level of hate towards 4Kids), but just news. Doing what I've been always doing...
