I watched the first few episodes, the plot is excellent IMO, and the show itself is very deep.

Saw all the episodes, have read the manga up to volume 5.
Yeah, it's a great series. It has a very strong... heart, I would say. It just leaves you with a calm feeling after reading/watching.
Also, while Tohru is ussually the type of character that I DON'T like, for some reason in this show, I like her. I can't explain it...

i adore this series! i've seen all the eps and iam currently reading the manga. what sucks is that the series ends right in the middle of the manga. so in other words, it ends abruptly. not like "hey guys! guess what-" END!
and i always have to do this, what zodiac animal are you? im 1984 for i'd be the rat, or in this case, yuki! *bishounen bubbles*

that pic of hatori is the smex. im a capricorn like kyou and ritsu. i have a friend (jac) who is JUST like haru, is year of the ox, and a cancer.
haru is another top fave of mine. my partner made me the jacket for cosplay that we did in june of 04.

I love this series. But i only read up to four (at the present)
Im going to try and get the anime for christmas ;D
Oh and on the topic of fruits basket...
Did you notice that in volume three the kept spelling momiji's name wrong. It was spelled momitchi?

"Momitchi" is a nickname.
It's fairly common in Japanese to add "chi" at the end of a name to make it sound "cute".
Example "Misakichi" in Angelic Layer
