Ah, I forgot about Resurie. She would make a great mod as well. She knows Shaman King like, like uh, like someone who knows a lot about something! (I can't think of any good analogies right now) She has good spelling and grammar, and she is very tolerant of other people's opinions.

well, i'd like to be a mod. *assuming your still taking entrances*
im good at cleaning up spam, and slightly low-tolerance. and yes, i check on this site nearly every day. my spelling and grammar are 'up to snuff' as it were, seeing as how i belong to multiple role-playing sites and you are 'poo-pooed' for not being able to speak proper english and... being a mod would be very awesome... just to sum it up.
*smiles and awaits judgement day*

While I do agree that having vast Mankin knowledge is important when at a Mankin site, I don't see the need for it to be a moderator. No offense resurie, but you've been a regular fountain of SK knowledge already, being a moderator wouldn't change that. I believe a moderators job is to make sure that the rules are being upheld. And that we stay on topic of each thread. I don't think SK knowledge should be a requirement, just an added perk. EDIT: Okay, I wasn't going to mention this because I thought it would make me sound pathetic, but I was actually building up the courage to ask to become a staff member at SKU Lovely. It's a strange coincidence that you would offer the job before I could get the guts to ask. Hope you have a decision soon. The stress is killing me!!!

Yeah, I know it wouldn't really matter. ^^ I mentioned that in my 'application' post.
I do know the job of being a moderator, if you notice I seem to always mention we're going off topic...o_0 (well...before...) I guess I was just afraid of Lovely coming along. XD
As for the rules, I always notice that someone is breaking the rules. (forgive on manga thingys Lovely! @_@~ I'm weak to requests!!) But I don't ever say anything because I know Lovely is going to come along and use her almighty Locking powers.
Oh, like Pinkechidna mentioned, I am tolerant with people's opinions. Everytime someone mentioned Hao was a bastard or an asshole (pardon my frrrench~). I simply told them that was their opinion! ^^ I actually do that in real life too...o_0. Everytime someone insults me, say, my sister calling me a freak. I tell them "well, that's your opinion!" XD I should license that phrase....XD ahah~!
(resurie is subject to all opinions! heck, I respect Hilary Duff fans with their opinions! you like her? go ahead~ like her!)

*waves* I see I was nominated. That's cool. I guess that means I'm not mean anymore I usually visit the boards about once a day. More on the weekends. I'm not all that knowledgable about Shaman King *sigh* Ok, I better make this quick...I'm not feeling 100% at the moment... I've managed a message board before. I was running a Sailor Moon rpg on a Yabb board a while ago, but it closed due to college and other problems (semi long story behind the reasoning). I believe it ran for almost 2 years. Actually I can check that..the site still exists...site went up on Jan. 11, 2002; game started on Jan. 18, 2002; game ended Oct. 20, 2003. It was actually first started by a friend, but he stopped updating, and I ended up in charge of it. Can I conclude that with anything? Umm....I try to do my best on spelling and grammar (spelled it right that time). I can honestly say I'm not perfect but I don't think anyone is for that matter. The downside of picking me? I do work 40 hours (sometimes more) a week. I'm also addicted to World of Warcraft. But hey, I'm writing this right now, so I must not be THAT addicted. Sheesh..I think I need a nap...I'm probably not making any sense anymore. Sick/sleepy Saturn signing off here. Oh, and I think Jr. would make a good moderator as well.

It's starting to occur to me that making this thread was a bad idea. No matter who I pick I'm gonna feel guilty about who I DIDN'T pick ;_; ...

I'm sure you'll pick the best person for the job, there are some good candidates. We all are mature here (I hope ^_^) so I doubt anyone will go and chop off heads if they don't get picked. *starts sharpening glaive* No really...I need to sharpen it...it gets dull after all that head chopping...oh shoot....

*applies* I'm around a lot(sure, I don't POST as much as I could, but at least I'm not spamming )...about once a day is "a lot" here, right? I've been a mod at a couple other places(RPGs, mostly), and have my own site(again, an RPG. Not TOO similar to a normal message board, but...) I know the rules well It really irritates me when people break said rules I post in the best English I can, and usually try to use proper grammar and spelling. I'm very used to message boards in general(I can think of 8 I go to daily off the top of my head, and about 5 more I go to occasionally, and many more I go to just for a short period of time), so I've built up a sense of things that aren't tolerated ANYWHERE I have WAY too much free time. At least 3 hours on weekdays, and pretty much ALL DAY on weekends(meaning that I can increase the amount of time that I'm here with ease). I've been here a while I'm pretty tolerent of anything that's not rule-breaking or highly annoying Gotta love lists! *notes that Lovely has 666 posts*

Honestly Lovely, I wouldn't really mind not getting picked...in my opinion, there's always a chance in the future! The reason I want to be a moderator so much is because...well, so I can actually play a big part in something... In the 'real world', I don't get picked for groups or anything like that...ever....I'm surrounded by spanish preps who think Oceania is a continent, and who replace the "C" and "Q" in spanish words with a "K" (>_O). They never ask me to be part of the group, so I end up going up to the teacher, put my most sympathetic face on and say "Umm...I don't have a group....*smile smile*" Since they only see me as the lone girl in the corner always drawing, they never think I'de put any effort into working...which isn't true. And when I AM in a group (science mostly) they always give me the least to say in a presentation. ALWAYS. In spanish and english. I can understand why in spanish, but in english?! It's ironic to me since they're the ones who can't pronounce the scientific hoo-haw words like "Deoxyribose" and "Carcinogen" (heck, they can't even pronounce "ecosystem" right!). They don't even ask me to be in any art groups, when in fact, that's my strong point. They always ask the girls who can draw pretty bubble letters! (I by the way won a friendship art contest at school, but I guess they were too dense to notice!). My point in all this? Well, here in SKU, it's different. Since anime and mankin are my strongholds, I can relate to people here, not the preps in "real world" who think Oceania is a continent (I'm sorry, it's fun to mention! > ) ). And since I can relate here, I'm usually my normal crazy nutcase self. Here, I feel like I AM in the group, not like I'm just there to watch the others do everything. I help people with comparing the episodes for them. Even if they don't pay attention to it, I don't care. I'm happy writing it. I'll feel happy being able to run something for once...instead of being the outcast groupie like in the "real world". I guess that's a better reason of why I want to be a moderator so much, not just the fact that "I'm always here!" or "I know a lot about SK!" (which doesn't really help... ) I want to help people, hence the reason I always answer those licensed material threads...I can't help it, I have to help them! I hate knowing something, but I can't help in any way.... I know the reason is somewhat irrelevant, but in my opinion, it is a better reason... But like I mentioned above, I don't mind not getting chosen (even though I really want to...) because I think you'll always have a second chance in the future.

Um... kay.... *cough* Uh, anyways... that really didn't effect my decision ^^; . The new mods will be Jr. and Resurie, even despite the fact that they started bickering a bit in this thread ^_~ . Actually, I have some good reason's for my decision for both of them, and also why I chose TWO mods. The Two mod thing: Um... the board has a lot of forums ^^; . And since it's the holidays and I'm also looking into getting a full-time job soon, there is a possiblity that I might not be around sometimes. If there is still a need then I'll get a third mod. And before people start clamoring for that (^^ , I just want to say that the third choice would be Saturn. O.k! Reasons for the mods (besides the incredibly strong desire which eventually led to the desire being so strong for both that they got a little creepy on me ^_~ .) Jr. He's mature, is on the boards a lot and has hellped me out a bit in the past. MOST importantly of all I've noticed that he tends to be involved in a good amount of topics that I don't actually read ^^; . *cough* Resurie. Has a good habit of bringing topics back on track. ALSO, I know it's been said that Shaman King knowledge isn't really a deciding factor, but, in this case, it kind of is. Wait, hear me out. This board has a good amount of Shaman King forums, in MOST of those I often go in and mark spoilers if people forget to. Sometimes I even go in a change the color of the text etc... Because Resurie is familiar with the series, she knows what qualifies as a spoiler and can probably figure out if it should be marked in a particular thread or not (even doing something as simple as changing the name of a thread to warn about said spoilers). Doing little spot checking things like this would help me out for the few times I miss them ^_~. Saturn (back up, not a mod... yet.) Really mature, knows how message boards work ^_^ . She's also helped me out a LOT of times. Uh, that's it really. Oh, everyone, please, please PLEASE don't be upset if you weren't chosen. I still love you all and this was a REALLY hard decision to make. Please don't get upset and leave the board ;_; . It's not a message board without the people to write the messages. Thanks, Lovely.
