*reads Resurie's story* Awww... *gives Resurie a hug and a pixie stick* high school was my all time evil. I was pretty much dubbed the "quiet smart girl" who everyone liked to pick on. Always picked last, never wanted in groups...ok...now I'm depressing myself. College was MUCH better though.
Congrats to both Resurie and Jr. I'm sure you'll do a good mod job.
Man...I almost forgot. Thanks for the backup mod position Lovely. I'll uhh...hmmm...wait for when you need me to do something important. Yes, that is what I will do...and watch more Shaman King!

Resurie I feel your pain and Saturn's. I too was kind of ignored and since I wear glasses I was dubbed the smart kid too, except I wasn't. At least the real nerds are actually smart. I was called a nerd and barely passed Junior English with a D-!!! Everyone was always "What?! He didn't turn in that paper? He's the smart one isn't he?!" NO!!! I hated schoolwork, perticularly long term assignments. I turned procrastination into an art form. Mostly never turning in assignments because I was too busy addicted to video games. I suppose I did some of the disconnecting myself by staying home all the time and never going to parties and all that crap that doesn't interest me. We're all a bunch of misfits!!  |

Since this somehow became a "how was your highschool" topic. I will say that I had a pretty good time in Highschool my last two years. Mostly, because I existed in a state of utter confusion  . Lovely: Wait... exactly WHO are the popular kids? Those loosers who are always high all the time? AHAHAHAHAHA ! Who would aspire to THAT XD ?! Being in the marching band kind of helped too I guess. People tend to bond when they are in pain  (not that I actually hanged out with them all THAT much ^^;. Once again, that confusion thing.) Japanese class was fun too... Oh, and I tended to hang out with the younger kids. Yep, I had fun my last two years... It was all downhill after that ...  ... |

My school doesn't have a band. They're too cheap. XD But the new school government (my cool side of the class, not the preps!) are trying to raise money for a mascot. They don't want a band because they'd rather have a music club. School here is different than in the states too. Instead of Elementary-->Junior High---> Highschool. It's 'Primary' and 'Secondary'. Primary is 1st grade to 6th. Secondary is 7th to 12th. I'm in 10th. I think that's how it goes in Japan too...right? For some reason, grades are all sorted out..  , like, my class, 10th grade are all the weirdos. (it includes preps..yes...). 7th grade are the midgets. XD I swear! For some reason, the 7th graders keep coming shorter! They look like 3rd graders this year! Oh, did I mention my school thinks Oceania is a continent? XD I'm sorry, like I said, I love mentioning it! XD! Although, it's EVEN more funny when 100% americans ask a nicaraguan where they live. It goes something like this~ American: where are you from? Nica: Nicaragua. American: (pronouned wrong) Nicaragua? Is that in Africa? Nica: .... XD! |
