Kaleido Star?

Has anyone seen the anime called Kaleido Star? I've seen the first episode from a free dvd i got from a Newtype magazine, it looks like it could be pretty good, and i've read its popular in japan. The art looks pretty and it looks...fun And the music kicks ass, especially Take It Shake It and tatoo Kiss.
I know the basic story is like about this girl named Sora and how she gets into the Kaleido stage or something but i dont know anyone who's seen it and i;ve been thinking of checking it out. But i want an opinion if possible so i dont blow 20 bucks on a dvd that turns out to be sucky. Anyone seen it?

I think Lovely likes it. I saw her mention it was "frikin' cool" in her tagline. XD;

And YES, "Take It Shake It" kicks ass. D:

But I've only seen a few episodes...= =; Because it's on early where I live, and I'm at school during that time. I don't really like watching it in spanish though. The voices are suckage. D:

It's like...

Sora: Oh I didn't know that. Oh.

Every minute you hear them say "oh" in spanish! ><?! It's annoying...T___T

IT'S FRIKIN COOL!!!!!

I've seen the entire first season (I rented it.)
And yes... it is... it's just awesome. Have you ever seen a "Cirque du Solei" show? The series focuses on an acrobatic "circus" like that. (It's NOT the type of circus with animals. It's big budget acrobatic shows with a theme and story.) Very, VERY awesome.

Kaliedo Star follows the trials of Sora Nagano, a performer who came to the U.S from Japan (yes, the series takes place in the U.S).

It's fun and cute and very exciting. I deffinetly recommend it.

Romance huh? Well.... sort of. One guy REALLY likes Sora but she never really notices ^^;. He's a sweetie though!

^___^ Ok, i got the first dvd! And after annoying technical problems it finally worked X3; I.........LOVE IT!!!! Omg, i swear, it has to be one of the best anime's i've ever seen!(and i;ve seen alot) From episode 2 on it was just nonstop awesomeness. I think my favorite is eppy 2...i just loved it when Sora was doing the Golden Pheonix(sp?) and stuff, so pretty!! I swear, its just so pretty and beautiful i got the chills at times...maybe i'm weird but i did. I love it and i cannot wait to see more! ^_^

Character thoughts:
I like Sora, she's a very likeable and cool main character i think. I watched the dub and while Cynthia Martinez is an ok voice for her, i can't say it really suits her that well.
I don't know much about Anna but i like her fine.
I really like Mia, she's just..cute ^^ and i like her hair. Ken..scares me...i don't like his english voice its just..kinda weird. He's just a little weird though, i mean i like him he's just kinda Its funny how he has this huge crush on Sora.
Yuri, meh dont really know, i suppose he's ok..for the time being ;
Layla, BITCH! I can only say she is a stuck up bitch, we'll see if my feelings towards her change in time.
Sara, i love Sara!! XD She's HILARIOUS! And i like her english accent it..suits her ^^ she's uber cool.
Kalos, he's cool. A little confusing at times but he's cool.

I mightve forgotten people but.. Also, i actually haven't seen episode 5 yet...gonna do that in a minute X3 I too though reccomend this anime to anyone else who's interested.

"FOOL"! How could you foget the greatness that is "Fool"?!
I love his english voice... So dignified, but so unfortunate *laughs*. (though they changed some of his lines in the first few volumes to be less lecherous. This was requested by the Japanese licensor >_< ! Later volumes don't suffer this as much.)

I really love the dub for this show too, mostly because the cast speaking English seems more appropriate in this case. Sora's voice DOES take getting used to, but once you've got it, it's great. Very cute.

(Random fact: On the last dvd they had her and Layla's VA do commentary on one of the episodes. That "Sora" voice... That's her REAL voice. It kind of shocked me. heh heh..)

XD Oh i know, Cynthia Martinez does have that accentish. I really liked her as Lina in the Slayers movies...the accent fit Lina well i thought..

OMG!! XD; Fool! I thought about it last night and i was like, how could i have forgotten hiM!? But i couldn't get back on

I love Fool-sama too! XD now i must see the original to hear the lechorous things. I love it how he's just kinda..randomly there sometimes. And when Sora ties him up and blindfolds him X3
Another character i forgot was the policeman dude. He's hilarious XD

Yeah, Sora's voice is growing on me, i just didn't think it suited her that well. ^^;
