Manga included? Well, I miss L from Death Note. i was even pitiful enough of a fan to open a support site.Actually, no one of great importance in D.Gray-man has died. Except Allen, but then he came back because of some miracle of God or some such thing. It would seem that Bookman has been murdered, but if he dies i'll just....uh. Send an I-love-you-and-I'm glad-you're-better-now-BUT-STILL letter of complaint to Ms. Hoshino Katsura. Ah. But Suman DID die. After all that damn trouble Allen went through to save his soul. It was sad, almost like Hughes, because he had a vision of playing with his little girl some time before he was graphically mutilated by insects devouring and bursting forth from his rotten, bleeding flesh.ahem. |

Amnael from Yu-Gi-Oh GX. Okay, he's not really dead, but he's as good as dead now, eh? *sigh* Amnael/Daitokuji was the best character in GX... Daitokuji as in Clow Reed lookalike teacher with the cat?! WHAT THE HELL?!I'm rather still in mourning for Princess Yue, myself. Yeah, she's not really dead, having become the moon spirit and all that... but dear lord, that stabbed me in what heart I still possess. Adding to the heap of people who miss Hughes and Nina, and seconding Martel. |

From Chrno Crusade, Chrno and Rosette.
From Fushigi Yuugi, the Suzaku Shichiseishi, and Amiboshi (mainly because he doesn't die in the manga).
From Gundam SEED, Nichol. Surprisingly enough, he was the only death that bugged me.
From Gundam SEED Destiny, Captain Gladys. She was cool!!
From Nadesico, Guy. He could've been developed more!
From Lodoss War, Ghimli. Might not like dwarves, but I at least respect their abilities.
From Weiß Kreuz, Persia. The REAL Persia. Poor Omittchi...
From Weiß Kreuz Glühen, Omi. Yes, I know that technically he doesn't die, but it equates to the same... Omi doesn't exist by the end of the series.
From X ~Ekkusu~, a lot of people. I think that X actually has a lower survival rate than FY does...
From Yami no Matsuei, Hisoka. He didn't deserve what he got. **gets reminded that ALL of the main characters in that series are dead** heheheh...
Not Japanese, but... from Serenity, Wash... IT WASN'T FAIR!!!!
And, from the entire Suikoden saga... Ted, Luc, Sarah, Yun, Nanami (if you don't do it right)

Ok this one is old, but he was from one of first anime series I obsessed over. Roy Fokker from Robotech, oh yeah, you can hate robotech all you want. I loved it.
