For some reason, I'm not surprised. They've already dubbed two Shonen Jump titles, and I don't see this as an exception. Not to mention the art style. It looks enough like a kids anime to be dubbed as one. ._.
We can only hope for the best, I guess.

The main problem is that the reps at Funimation JUST found out about this too. So a subtitle release, if it ever happens, will be far off in the future.
Really, I'm sad when 4kids gets ANY anime. You see, in general I like dubs. However, I HATE what 4kids does to thier dubs. So it's a no-win situation for me really :/ .

Excuse for a moment...*goes off and cries* Sigh...I wish that 4Kids would either:
A)Listen to fan complaints
or B)Quit aquiring new anime that they;ll jsut butcher up
...neither of which is likely to happen. Oh well...there's still Shonen Jump, and I'm 99.9% positive that an uncensored site will srping up.

The dub song and opening for One Piece is now online. Apparently the song uses the same tune as the original. The Animation for the most part is the same as well. This is a first for 4kids right? I say "for the most part" because a character who originally smoked is now sucking on a lollypop ^^; . Agh, in the end though, I'm sad in a way that I've never seen this show. In another way I'm happy I haven't seen it so that way my soul doesn't break. Ah, here is the direct link to the opening-- dub opening (btw - It took me forever to figure out how to get the file to work. Eventually, I just saved it and then played it from the save file.) |

Ugh, if they give everyone sterotypcial pirate voices like they did with the priate(forgot his name) in the very start of it, I'll be very mad. I can't imagine most of the characters*coughLuffycough* with pirate-like voices, it doesn't suit them.
