It would be interesting if manga was broadcast on prime time TV with voice overs from the English anime version of the said manga.
E.G. imagine the Shaman King manga with the English voice overs, uncut from the Viz version, on TV.

What the...?!?
I think you need to think about this. That makes absolutely no sense. You read manga, you don't watch manga.

I really have to agree with Saturn what is the point in watching manga that is why we have anime so we dont have to read it that is a lame idea but hey maybe 4kids will use it ask them.

Unlike American comic books and picture books, manga is meant to be read very fast.
For example, Saiyuuki episode 2 is equivalent to manga chapters 1-3 (episode 1 is from the manga prologue, or chapter '0'). It takes them roughly 25 minutes to get through that one episode. I takes me about 15 minutes to read all three chapters.
This means that a 26 episode series (13 hours, including commercials) would be brought down to less than half that (since I've yet to find a series without SOME sort of filler added).

Actually, LeVar Burton did double duty on both Reading Rainbow and Star Trek: The Next Generation for a long time (ST: TNG started 4 years after Reading Rainbow).
However, his first 'big' thing was quite different from either of those. He first starred as Kunta Kinte in Roots.

Sounds like a horrible idea. Rather just watch anime.
