But yeah, I saw the commercial for it last week--or was it last last week...? Hm...Oh well.
It's perfectly fine if they want to turn dolls into a cartoon show, but the message Bratz gives off is just really....narrow-minded. That's the reason I fear this show. I can just imagine it, "On the next Bratz, the girls go on a mall adventure! .....................Again!"

Nyah, I saw it. But what's more interesting to me is, on the commercial for GI Joe, they urged veiwers to "go commando" for this show. So I'm wondering... ...WHAT THE HELL? They DO realize what they're implying, don't they? This is... really, not the best way to advertise... OMG, my sister was just saying something to that extent. she saw that commercial before I woke up, and she thought they'd show it again, but they didn't. ah yes, my opinion on the Bratz doll show- I honestly don't think it will give Barbie a run for her money, but I'm still scared. I like dolls, but those dolls kinda creep me out.  |

XDDD o.o I don't mind shopping but it's not like I'm going to sit around and watch people shop =P... and I really don't know anyone who would... well I don't know anyone who would ever have watched that when they were at teh age where they may have had a slight chance of liking it. |

I had that reaction because I always have that reaction when I see shows of that type come on the air. I see what will happen and it scares me. I don't like the dolls for completely selfish reasons, and seeing that commercial reminded me of future wasted air time.

I watched some of that Bratz show with my sister... and here's what happened:
Me: What kind of crap is this?!
Sister: This show is stupid...
Me: What's the point in this?!
Sister: This show is stupid...
Me: That's it! I'm going to watch Xiaolin Showdown!
Sister: This show is stupid...
Okay as for that "going commando" comment... did 4Kids ever think to go back and listen to what they actually said? Here's another scenario:
4Kids: Go commando for G.I. Joe!!!
Kid: Mommy what does "go commando" mean?
Mommy: Ack!! No more T.V. for you young (man/lady)!!!

Is it just me, or do some of the BRATZ sound like they smoke? Some of them have really raspy voices and sound like they smoke. They must be trying to teach kids to smoke and be all braty and people will love you.

Somehow I knew Mr. Lobster would bring that perspective to light.
Yashaboy, they do have raspy voices, (I know because they have movies too *shudder*) but I don't think it's because they smoke. I think it's more of an attitude thing. I know they have released this show simply to market the dolls, but it would be nice for them to have used another medium. I despise wasted air time, which is why I don't watch much TV now. And, when I do watch television, I end up watching dubbed animes, shows that are not at my age level, (like Dora or Arthur) or something informational. (like the news) I despise stereotypes and shows that don't have enough decent writing material to not use them. *end of rant*

Oyeah, I was watching TV the other day and there was an ad about some "LOL BRARTZ ROCK ANGELZ" and the slogan was "Who says girls don't know about rock?"... the bad part is that they were singing like Christina Aguilera, and as we all know, anything that sounds like that =/= rock.
Goddammit I hate everything.

Well this is one more reason to stay away from 4 Kids TV. Can it get any crappier than this? (knowing 4 Kids, possibly) Makes me kinda wonder what the world is comming to.
