Last Unicorn... oh, wait... that was based off of a German book, wasn't it? And animated by the studio that became Ghibli? Guess it's not that American after all...

The Last Unicorn was a novel written by Peter S. Beagle. It's not German. But it's true that the animators that animed the movie were in fact part of what became Studio Ghibli.

Nope, it's American. Peter S. Beagle was born in New York.

Well, it came out in the very early 80's, and it's a Rankin/Bass film. I always enjoyed it as a kid, and I bought it on DVD. The character designs are kind of wierd, which is typical for Rankin/Bass. I recommend reading the book more, but the movie is good too.

I still love Beauty and the Beast. Belle is a kick-ass heroine. She's pretty, courageous, and intelligent. Besides, the Beast is a sex muffin.

Looking back at my collection of Disney cassettes, I have remebered that I adored the Rescuers (and it had an okay sequel). Bianca and Bernard both rock... almost as much as Rock Lee!

If you're talking about the Disney version then yes, I remember it... I can't understand what in the heck possessed them to do a sequel though.
