i need help on my avatar ._.

How do you link them?

They need to have their own addrss on your address bar. The address needs to to have the website and the link all the way down to jpg or whatever the pic type is. The full path or something like that. Some sites do not allow linking like that though so you'll have to watch those.

You need to have to go to where the pic is you want. Copy the address from the address bar and paste it in your profile on the line that says "I have my own pic" or something to that effect. Resize if you need to. And apply the changes. Your new avatar should load on your profile screen after you applied the changes.

It took me a while at first to figure that out. I had a hard time finding good pics, so I made my website.

I know your computers on the fritz so doing that is out of the question. If you have a pic and cannot link to it, tell me where it is and I'll upload it to my site. I'll tell you the link to paste in your profile and you'll be all set.

I hope this helps. I'm not really sure how else I can explain this without coming to your house and doing it for you.

I know how to link my pictures in, because I've done it on my signature line, and previously my avatar, but now when I check the box and paste in the address thinger for my pictures, it doesn't work on the avatar. I've tried numerous (okay, 2) pictures for my avatar, and they work in my sig. I have the feeling I'm missing something obvious and am going to start feeling stupid soon. o_0 It can't be helped.

Other people have avatars bigger than mine, but when I try to increase the size, it won't go any bigger than i is now! ><

did you put in the numbers 100 X 100
because thats as big as an avatar will get here.

Yeah, what Ashil said. If the picture you're using is larger than 100x100, it'll come out all...squished.

You need to re-size it to fit 100x100. It's best you match the size of your avatar with what you need to type in your profile, that way, it'll come out all pretty. ^_^

Yes, you can.

You can upload the picture with imageshack.us/ then you go to your profile, click the box that says "I have my own picture" and put the link in the blank space next to it. And it should work. ^_^

Keep in mind, the largest it can be is 100x100. And I think it has to be a .GIF or .JPG image to work...?

Well, it gets resized by the board if it's too big. So..Lovely isn't going to shoot you...
