An actual song that loads and plays probably wouldn't be a good idea, especially for those on dial-up. And I don't think the coding on the board would even allow something like that since it isn't html.
If you mean just lyrics then you can put them in the signature section under your profile.

I agree with Saturn. I have dialup and that would be a major slow down on my system, but yes, lyrics in your sig are just fine!!
Plus, you can only import images into your sig I believe.

I was just trying to figure out what you actually meant by "track" and then "a song" because some people like to post song lyrics in signatures. So I wasn't sure if you meant actually the music itself or just text lyrics. |

I'm sorry, if I had known that that is what you meant then I wouldn't have been so confused. Yes you can do that.
You will need to upload the song onto your own server. And then the code will be:
[ url ]http://www.websiteaddress.com/song.mp3[/url]
But you'll need to put in the address for your song location, that's an example. No spaces in between brackets and url.
