So how'd everyone think of their names? This can be just a thread like my 'Your Shaman King History' thread.

I made up this name by just knocking off 78231 of my AOL username/neopets name. Basically the idea was when I combined two of my favourite things together.

Whee~ Well, I already explained where my name came from...somewhere...but I'll say it again! ^_^

I actually used to have a few other names in the past. ^^;; Very VERY stupid names in my opinion. XD I won't tell. >D Nyahaha. So now, the story of my name:

A.K.A - My ultimate name I shall NEVER change! >D Mwahahaha! *is shot*

*cough* Well, resurie is the literal romanization of "Leslie", which is my real name (I already said it somewhere else on the board so um..yeah...). Of course, the 'e' there should really be another 'i'. BUT, when I first romanized it, it came out with an 'e'. So I just kept it like this. I don't like how 'resurii' looks anyway. >D

Plus, 'resurie' just sounds cool in my opinion. XD!

Oh, and I don't capitalize it because I like it in lower case. ^_^ Which is strange considering whenever I write my signature, I capitalize it...o_0 Well, I guess it's sort of like 'chaos'. XD *runs before Dessa comes along*

Oh, and I'll be honest, I don't like my real name. >D resurie pwns Leslie!! AHAHAHAHA!! *is shot again*

I chose my name a looooong time ago when I first got on the internet. I'm fond of it, so I've continued to use it. Since I've used it for so long, it really DOES feel like a real name.

Anyhoo, "Lovely" is sort of a pun on my real name "Grace". Since they both sort of mean the same thing ^_^ .

[Saturn]

My name is pretty obvious if you look at my avatar and signature picture. I'm a HUGE Sailor Moon fan. First anime I got into. Hotaru (Sailor Saturn) was and still is my favorite character for various reasons. So I chose the name Saturn a long time ago. Although, the name Saturn is usually always taken so I add an SS on the end of it, so usually I'll use SaturnSS (this is my AIM name), but I prefer Saturn when i can use it.

Way back in the day they had this mail in thing for GIJoe where they'd make an action figure for you, and they'd fill out the character card with your name, alias, specializations (prounounced, "NIN jaa"), backstory of how you got into the Joe team...it was totally cool and professional looking and "Lord Cyber" evolved out of it...but then when I got into ICQ and play by emails everyone shortened my name to LC...it's cool.

Since we're at it, David Blair is my real name...pretty generic huh?

Actually LC, you're not far off. ^_^;

While it should really be pronounced something like..."le-su-lie" (say it really fast, it sounds normal >_>), I myself pronounce it "re-su-rie" (I like the 'r' sound better than the 'l' sound. >D). And since all my friends and family can't seem to pronounce the 's', they also say "Reh-zur-eee". So technecally, you were saying it right. XD

Well...my name's sorta obvious to all those who know some Japanese. Neko is the Japanese word for cat. And cat's are my favourite animal. Though...it sorta has a double meaning for me. Since my real name is Catherine. It's actually the reason why I'm so fond of cats. That and the fact I like fish as much as they do, I like milk too. I'm the only one in my house who drinks it and we still run out within a week or so. But anywho..ya so that's how I got my name.

hmm....this is pretty pointless.

^O^ OOOKAAYY!! My name comes from the main character of the Shaman King sequel: Funbari No Uta!!! BECAUSE YOU ALL DIDN'T ALREADY KNOW THAT!!

He's not really a favorite character from Shaman King, considering that he isn't born yet. Really, I just thought Hana looked cool, and the idea of Yoh and Anna poppin one out kinda weirded everyone out. ^-^ Perfect choice, ne? No reason, really. Spur of the moment decision.

[Pinkechidna]

Well, mine's pretty obvious, but while were at it...

For those of you who read the Archie Sonic comic series, there is a character called Julie-Su. She's got to be the most kickass female in anything Sonic-related. I'm like her in alot lot of ways.

Of course, she's a pink echidna, so: Pinkechidna. I could put a space between the words, but I just like how it looks ^_^.

Also, I do a lot of Sonic fan art, and when I draw female echidnas, they are usually pink or a light shade of purple. So it makes the name all the more easy to remember. I add and 18 at the end sometimes, (my AIM and e-mail) because I was 18 at the time.

I used to use the name Diablachao. On SA2, those little Dark Chaos, I love 'em! They're kinda evil, so I used Diablo=devil in front of chao. I changed it to "Diabla"chao because it sounded more feminine.

And that's the story of how I got my name!

Mine has been my universal internet username since I though of it. I wa back when I was signing up for an oekaki board but I couldn't think of a name. I noticed alot of people with -chan on the end of their names so I wanted to use that and while idley thinking in the kitchen I came up with Magenta-chan (but back at the time I thought it was pronounced mag-neht-ah ^^ and it's been my name ever since.

[animeninjaNIPPON]

I first used "animeninjaNIPPON" as my yahoo screen name. I was gonna go with "animeninja" (that's my LJ username, BTW), but it was taken, and "animeninja2001" sounded lame, so I tacked "NIPPON" on to the end. I use that name almost everywhere, so if you see "animeninjaNIPPON" anywhere, chances are, it's me.

NIPPON is another name for "Nihon", which means "Japan" in Japanese.

and in case you're wondering, my real name is Sarah Elaine Ramirez. remember that now, I'll be famous someday. (j/k)

chaos: **sigh** There she goes... anyway, Dessa's screenname comes from her Pocket Monsters fan character. "Dessa" (in the stories) is the human form of the pokemon "Dragessa" (see how it's just shortened?). "Dragessa" got it's name by combining "dragon" and "goddess" (and she added the "a" to make it sound better). The character's last name, BTW, is "Gepichu," which was Dessa's name for a cross-breed Togepi and Pikachu, when she first heard about breeding in Gold and Silver (this was before she heard you couldn't make cross-breeds). She simply adopted it as the character's last name.

chaos: What's scary is that she's actually done some of those "what does your name say about you?" things for both "Dessa" and her offline nickname "Izzy," and they describe her better than her real name.

*ahem* I chose Mushin because it sounds cool. It is my favorite oversoul, and it is quite smexy, no?

Um, as for my LJ, it is mushin_ae...
I was gonna be Mushin Ae, but since Mushin wasn't taken, I thought, "Why not" :3
