anyone here like Soul Caliber II (or any of the other SC games)? I just got it for the GC, and it's cool (the GC version has Link  ). my fave characters are Cassandra, Sophitia, Talim, Taki, and Link. Charade is also pretty cool. maybe it's just me, but I get the impression that Taki is either a man dressed up as a woman or a woman trying to act like a man. that's kewl, though.  also, I like the funny stuff they say sometimes.ex.: Sophitia: you're in pain... it's painful, isn't it? *lol* that cracks me up every time I hear it |

Yah ive played it it's pretty good but i have only played the Xbox version.

I have the PS2 version but I can't stand Heihachi. I use Raphael and I can go about 20 rounds in survival mode no recovery. I've went over 30 with Talim. Although I did kind of cheat using her Soul Calibe weapon. It gives you life even though you are playing no recovery. I think Mitsurugi (I know I didn't spell it right so  ) is too powerful with his final weapon. I also like the joke weapons. They make silly sounds. That's about the only reason. ..........I'm done now. |

In the Xbox version you start with Spawn as one of your characters but instead of having guns they gave him an axe which is odd because he doesnt use one in his movie.

I am good with Kilik, and Link on the Game cube version, but I can usually get beat easily if some one uses Ivy or Voldo against me  I HATE VOLDO |

My wife likes to use Ivy too. At least she doesn't use the dominatrix outfit. She says she likes the sword/whip weapon of hers. Although she does do the "Squirm! Strangle!" move on me a lot.  *cough* IN THE GAME!!!! *cough* ;D (get your filthy minds out of the gutters!!!) |

I found out that there's a Japanese audio in the options.
I still can't figure out Taki's true gender, though (not that I care, I'm just curious).

I played the Xbox version as well as the Gamecube version. I love to play as link(I'm a big Zelda fan) but Spawn can levitate for a short amount of time, and it's so cool. I'm good with Link, Kilik, Yoshimitsu, and Spawn(Xbox). I got Link's Bug-Catching Net with my friend, which is also were I played Halo 2 and now I'm addicted to it. It's got kind of a dissapointing ending though.(Sorry, that's off topic isn't it)

Umm i think taki is a girl...but ummm am i the only one that thinks Taki says disturbing stuff in those matchup screens Ex: STAY DOWN! EX: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA ummm i forgot the rest but still whatever she says always scares me but shes also one of my fav characters. Also other faves are Link, Talim, Cassandra, Raphael, Misterugi, and i forgot the other faves, lol |

In Wind Waker, Link says "Come on" & "Yay", with various laughing and attacking noises. Tetra says "Hello", "Hi"' and I think she also says "Hey"(along with other various noises yet again).
Anyway, I read that the bug-catching net that you get for link in Soul Calibur 2 is in ALTTP, which I've never played(how do I sleep at night?). Is it his special weapon, like the ocarina or wind waker, because I think I heard that somewhere.
