((OOC: Heh, don't mind me.... I've had a "smart" mouth lately ^^;.))
The day, a tuesday.
The time, 4:00pm.
The weather, hot.
The participants, running in a frantic hurry to get to the Patch Collesium on time.
"Doesn't the match start at 4:05?" Lovely muttered crossly to her teamates. "WE WANT A SHOW!!!" Jr yelled aloud, to no one in particular. "I'm sure they'll be here soon" Resurie reasurred her teamates calmly.
Team Modogumi, the team made up of the Patch forum moderators, sat in the spectator stands of the Patch Colliseum. It was a bright, beutifull day, and the stands were packed with curious and excited shaman. Various Patch workers, and those Patch officials who WEREN'T currently tending to a match elsewhere were going through the stands selling various tasty refreshments.
Lovely looked around, "Nichrome's not around though, and I doubt he had a match. Gaaaa! lil' brat! I needed to ask him something!"
"Looks like you'll just have to handle board things alone Lovely" Resurie said with a smile as she repressed a slight giggle. Lovely gave a small blush, but said nothing. Jr however, couldn't just let the moment go! "Heh! She's blushing! She's blushing!"
"You're pretty hyper," Lovely muttered.
"Can't help it!" Jr said with a huge grin, "I love stuff like this!! It's just so, sooo... CLASSIC!" Jr suddenly looked towards the center of the stadium, "Ah! There they are! The teams are finally here!"
The Patch official Radim, who didn't seem all THAT put off that the teams were a little late, went straight to his announcement as soon as the two out of breath teams ran into the stadium.
"AAAAaaaaalllllriiiiight! Is everyone ready??!!!"
"Today, we have a special treat for you all! Our Patch officiate "in training" Zinc-kun will do the honors of starting todays fight!"
"I-- I'm weady to go!"
"Don't worry," Radim whispered to Zinc "All you have to do is yell out "fight!" into this microphone."
"O--- O.tay!"
At this point Radim picked the cat-child up and lifted him to the mircophone.
"Ready kiddo?"

Oh, as a side note, I got my revenge a bit on these two teams by making them show up "almost late" to the fight. mwahahaha....
Oh yeah, as a side note to Jr. I hope you didn't mind me writing your character a bit hyper here. But after Xeno2 I get the impression that stuff like this is the sort of thing that gets Jr acting boyish *laughs*.))

Biggs arrived at the tournament, just on time. He wanted to see some shaman action. Yurri and Yari were with him. Biggs said a quick prayer for no deaths during the fight. He looked up. This was it.
"Now then, let's observe this fight! We may have to fight this team at some point." Yurri reminded.
Biggs remained silent. Yari seemed preety upbeat and exciited.

Team Future Girls ran into the Collesium panting heavily.
*Gasp, gasp* "We made it! Minako said.
Kitsune appeared behind her. "Yes, we are a bit late, but we seem to have arrived before the other team."
Akio looked around, "Well I guess we aren't that late after all!" he said cheerfully. Miss May mewed happily in response.
Alicia tied back her hair. "Well, I hope they get here soon, because I'm ready to take 'em on!" she yelled.
"Amen to that!" Suzaku replied. Fighting in the tournament was one of the things the pair could agree on.
Even though her teammates appeared to be pumped for the match, Minako could sense a little uneasiness from them. Fortunately, there were many positive emotions as well.
Minako took a step forward, with Akio to the right and Alicia to the left. They stood there waiting for their opponents.

Dessa and her teammates watched the Future Girls' display from the hallway. They had made it in time, but, unfortunately, had also made it in time to see their opponent's showing off.
"So that's our opponents?" Tyrell asked, getting his oversoul ready.
"Fan...girls...must...run...hide..." Dessa grabbed the back of Van's shirt before he could run away.
She also had to grab Kon's tail, although he was running the OTHER way. "NEEEE-SAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!" the stuffed animal was talking.
"They've got style, I'll give them that," Dessa started. "But we have power. I have confidence in us. Let's oversoul here, so that people may underestimate us." The two boys nodded.
"chaos!" Dessa shouted. "Spirit Ball Mode! [konton] in [bukuro]!"
"Scar!" Tyrell shouted. "Spirit Ball Mode! Scar in arm!"
Van, meanwhile, was putting a strange glove on, and then jamming his hand inside of Kon's mouth. He pulled out a small round 'pill,' which started to glow.
"Kon!" he shouted. "In shoes!"
"Ready?" Dessa asked, releasing a small amount of ether into her furyoku to create ether wings. The boys nodded. "Then let's go!"
The team ran out (well, Dessa flew) into the stadium, listening to the crowds, and waiting for the word 'fight.'
((OOC: "konton" is actually the reading of the kanji that mean 'chaos.' chaos actually uses it with the INAPPROPRIATE reading "keiosu" in my Xeno2 manga, so I thought it would be cool to use that for initiating her Oversoul. And "bukuro" is "gloves"))

Megumi was bounding across Patch village
"I don't get how you could spend all day at the arcade and forget about the Match today," Takehiro told Megumi as he hovered beside her.
"I - know - I'm - sorry - but - at - least - we - havn't - missed - the - match" Megumi slowly replied, running so fast and being almost out of breath she was finding it hard to speak fluently.
"Hey, you're just lucky I noticed the adverticement for it on the TV in the corner,"
Megumi had to finaly stop, and she bent over gasping for her breath back. The stadium was only about a half a mile away from her current position. Having her oversoul with Kya to give her a bit of a speed boost she could also hear two people mumbling into a microphone one of which was Zinc. She started up agian and made a mad dash for the stadium.

Miruna set down with a shake(chocolate of course) in one hand and a bar of chocolate in the other. Then she turned to Cory and Geo and said: "First row seats! Nice!" and took a sip from her shake..
Cory looked at her with a confused and yet anoyed expression and said: "What the f**k are you talking about? We're in the fourth row!"
Geo looked at them and said "She does have a point you know!"
Miruna was really confused:"Well since we're the first ones here let's move people!"
They both sighted at her and then Cory poped out of her seat and said: "Sure!"
Of course they went to the first row!
Geo said: "You two are weird...I'm going to buy some juice...do you want some?"
Cory:'Just a soda!'
Miruna:"Please bring me two cokes, a burger, some popcorn, another two bars of chocolate and some bubble gum....that should be enough for the first hour!"
Geo and Cory sighed and thought:"Man this girl is hungry!"
--------Half an hour later---------
"Good! The fight is about to begin! let's see what happens!" Miruna says enthusiastically and takes another bite from her burger!
