((This topic is a slight continuation from when Kon went missing. Here, we go to the Patches, shifting boxes around for their big "sale", to celebrate the first few fights, and someone carelessly drops some things.))
It was during all the chaos of the interview, that a certain, tall Patch was having to lug some rather heavy boxes around. However, he had not found the time to seal the boxes shut, and so, some things could be found easy to dislodge and fall out.
Of these things, a certain yellow plushie, in the form of teddy and lion was balanced badly on some books. "KOOOORAAAA! OI! TEMEE! WHAT DID YOU BRING ME BACK HERE FOR?!"
The Patch glared, distastefully, at the little plushie. "We're lucky we found you. You could make millions..." "NANIIIII?! YOU'RE NOT HONESTLY THINKING OF SELLING ME, ARE YOU?!" The little plushie jumped off the box, and started to sprint away. "LIKE I'D ALLOW THAT!"
"Hey, get back here, you little goldmine!" The Patch dropped the boxes and ran after the little runaway plushie. Sprawled on the floor were many books, however, one could notice that one read "Zinc-kun's Diary: Pwease Do Not Read".
Although it said "Pwease Do Not Read", a passerby, finding this diary, surely couldn't resist taking a peek inside.
((Anyone can find the diary and look inside, but I'll be the one writing Zinc's entries in it, because here we have the chance to see what happened to Zinc, when it was mentioned that he was cursed, in the previous topics.
Also, I hope nobody minded me using Kon, to just set up a little scene. He's escaped again, anyway.))

Alicia, hoping to hide from the other shamans because she made an ass of herself at the interview noticed a pile of books amidst the crates she was hiding between.
Might as well have some entertainment since I'm gonna be hiding here for a while. she thought to herself.
After shuffling through the mass of books, she happened upon a small book tha had a label that read "Pwease do not read!"
Haha! Gee, I wonder whose's this is! Alicia thought cheerfully. Oh, but I can't read it, it's a secret diary! But what's the harm of one little peek! No, it says not to read! But surely he wouldn't have left it out if he didn't want someone reading it! No that's wrong! Alicia hadn't realized that while she was arguing with herself, she had picked up the diary and now it was open in front of her...

As luck would have it, the page she opened the diary on had "Dear Diawy... Something weawwy bad happened wecentwy. I went out to find something for Silva-sama to eat, when I met a mean man called Hao. He had a weawwy big wed giant, that he wode on." Inserted near by, was a crayon drawing of the Spirit of Fire. "He wooked away fwom me, when I asked what he was doing, and why he had a wed giant with him. So, I sent out Cerbewus to get some answers, but he was too wude to get the answers out. The mean man, Hao, got angwy and wooked down at me. Then, he used a big burst of fire, and chanted some stwange words. When I woke up, I found I was a cat-boy... It's not fair! Why did I get turned into a cat?" There could be seen some little dried up tear stains. So, that was why little Zinc was a cat child. He'd been cursed by Hao.

Awww! Poor little Zinc! I just wanna hug him even more! This Hao guy is really starting to piss me off! Alicia thought to herself. Gee, I hope I don't find an entry where Zinc thinks I'm a nutcase spaz for glomp-tackling him during the interview....
"KOOOORRRRRAAAA! LOOKING AT OTHER PEOPLE'S PRIVATE THOUGHTS, ARE YOU?" A little yellow lion plushie stared down at Alicia from some crates.
Alicia jumped 3 feet in the air, dropping the diary. "HOLY HELL! Where the crap did you come from?!" she said, startled.
"NAUGHTY, NAUGHTY GIRL!" the little plushie replied, condesendingly.
"What are you correcting me for? Ugh, look at me, I'm being lectured by a stuffed animal." Alicia sad, rolling her eyes.
"I'VE GOT MORE SENSE THAN YOU!"
"Okay, that's it! You're getting the stuffing knocked out of you right now!"
The little plushie stuck out a cloth tounge.
"I'm gonna take this staff and shove it up your stuffed a-" Alicia then saw a shadow of someone behind her.

It was a normal day for Biggs, walk around and hope something exciting happens. Today, something DID happen!
He stepped into the warehouse, where he heard some weird sounds. A yellow lion plushie came into sight. It appeared to be creeping away from someone.
"Who are you creeping away from?" shouted Biggs.The lion plushie flinched and was instantly tackled by a Patch salesman.
"Oh!" said Biggs as a sweatdrop went down his face.
Then, all of a sudden, a diary came out of nowhere. Biggs caught it in mid-air and flipped it open to a random page.
It wrote.............

((You're like three posts behind, dude... Alicia still has the diary with her, and Kon's with her, and so on... You should read the whole topic. As a result, I'm keeping the storyline in the way that Pinkechidna has got it going.))
The shadow, small and cat-child-like, was, of course, Zinc's. "What are you weading?"
"IT'S YOUR DIARY! YOU'RE THAT KID WHO ALWAYS USES 'W' FOR 'L' AND 'R'! IT HAS TO BE YOURS! SHE'S BEEN PEEKING ON IT! ABOUT YOUR THING WITH THIS HAO GUY! Ummm... Oops, I wasn't supposed to say that, was I?" He muttered, having just revealed that he'd looked to, before scurrying off.
Zinc stared at Alicia, his eyes starting to well up with tears. "Awicia-san... How could you?" His voice was soft and his tone showing a sign of deep hurt.

Oh crap, oh crap, oh crap!
"Oh, um, hi Zinc. I was just, uh, just, uh....." she fumbled.
Great, first you attack him on PNN, now you go and read his private diary! Look he's crying! He hates you, you damn idiot! You're going to hell...
As soon as she finished condemning herself she turned to Zinc. Looking completely ashamed she tried to explain herself.
"Um, I did read it. I'm not gonna try and make some stupid excuse. I picked it up, and because I have no self-control I read it. I'm very sorry, Zinc! I didn't want to hurt your feelings!" she desperately tried to apologize.
She couldn't even look Zinc in the face. Walking over to him, eyes still on the ground, she handed him his diary.
"I'm so very sorry.....S***, I'm such an idiot!" she cursed herself and took off.

Alicia was behind the Patch Cafe panting heavily. *gasp, gasp* "Oh man, I really screwed up this time. Why did I do that? I hurt that poor little cat-boy's feelings. I hope I can make it up to him somehow..."
She stopped cold. There were footsteps approaching. Alicia made a move to run, but she thought for a moment.
Lately I've been screwing up a lot. And I've only been running away. That's not me, I never used to run away from things. If I run from things like embarassment or shame then how are my teammates supposed to rely on me? Whoever's comming, I'm going to face them!
She stood her ground and waited.

"Awicia-saaaaaan!" He wailed, jumping onto her, with a hug, starting to bawl. He hid his face, against her stomach, and kept crying. A little while, and he might say something new...

Alicia was shocked! He was little Zinc clinging to her and crying. Alicia hugged him back. Don't cry, Alicia.
As soon as she had finished her thought, she began bawling too.
"Oh, Zinc! I'm so sorry! I never meant to hurt you! I'll never do it again."
Zinc looked up at Alicia with his big, cute eyes.
Sha smiled at him, and brushing away tears, said, "Tell ya what, if I ever run into Hao I'll give him a hard kick square in the balls just for you!"
(OOC- Aw, emotional moment! And then ruined a little. ^_^; )

He gave a little smile, behind his tears and hugged her, as tight as he could, which was rather gentle. He nodded and muttered a little "I wuv you", affectionately- A chaste "I wuv you", but an "I wuv you", all the same.

"I love you too, little Zinc!" Alicia said. This was hte happiest she had been since she got here. She put Zinc up on her shoulders. "Lets go get some ice cream!" Alicia shouted merrily.
Hmm, I entered this Tournament with no particular goal. Just fighting for sport, for the thrill of combat. Now I think I have a reason...
She glaced upward at Zinc's happy smile.
Even though I love your kitty features, I'll find a way to change you back. I'll fight for you, little Zinc-kun...

((Zinc's kinda gotten pleased/only gotten used to his cat features. But, there could also be some other stuff, but, yep, we've gotten deep!))
"Okay!" He smiled and huggle her, now all sweet and genki again. "What fwavour do you wike?" He asked, sparking up conversation.
