O Brother, where art thou? (S2)

[Gus]

((the next day...))

Version 3 had been sent to look for food. Version 4 sat on the roof of a nearby building. Suddenly, he spyed Takehiro walking along below, talking to Megumi. His face contorted in fury at the sight of him, the one who was, in his eyes, threatening the Mission. His childlike hands didn't look so childlike as they ripped off a peice of the stone masonery. His childlike arms didn't look so childlike as they hefted the stone, now glowing witha strange black light, to throw at those below. He grinned a little grin, and prepared to throw--

Only to have his arms grasped by a pair of similar, yet much stronger, arms. Version 2 gave him an angry look. "Brother, he is NOT a problem. We may NOT remove him."

Version 4 gave a look of utmost rage, but it soon passed into a spiteful grin. "Let go of me, 'brother'. Or I'll kill you."

Version 2 gave a look of confusion. "'kill'...?"

Version 4 gave a sideways smile, and dropped the stone. Then he spoke to the figure rapidly approaching. "Brother! Version 2 has lost his mind! He is trying to remove me!"

Version 2 turned around, terror in his eyes as he saw his hulking brother look down at him in shock. "No! I didn't! He was trying to--"

Version 3 knew what had to be done. He'd done it many times before. And now, even if the man on the other end was his brother, was no different. He reached out his hand, grasped the face, and...

The two brothers walked out of the alley, looking for the original. Nothing remained of the one they had once called 'brother'. Nothing but a broken, headless body, and a puddle of blood and brains that stained the dirt ground a dirty red.

"....but still, Gus is so egoistic, it wouldn't make sence for him to make clones, he'd want all the attention." Takehiro pondered
"Who ever said Gus made them?" This gave Takehiro quite a bit to think about. But who would...? It was then a thud was heard on the opposite side of the street. All three turned around to find the decapatated body of what had once been one of Gus's clones.

"Oh god..." faltered Takehiro as he clasped his hands over his mounth. Kyaa was now cowering behind him.
"Cool, it's so gross," Megumi said as she started poking the corpse with a stick.
"ugh, don't you have any resect at all!" Takehiro yelled. Looking hurt at this comment the cat dressed girl got up and gave multiple apologies to her spirit firend.
"Who would do such a thing anyway?"
"Yeah, alot of teh shamans here are a little bloodthirsty but no-one would do something like this,"
"but shouldn't his spirit be around here?"
"Well, if he's a clone then I guess he wouldn't really have a spirit." Takehior shuddered at the thought. Looking aorund he saw no-one else up or down the road.
"I guess we should give him a berial, we can't just leave him here." Megumi nodded in agreement. Taking out her axe she started to carve out the dirt from the ground. Within 20 minutes, version 2 had been burried and covered over. The three hung their heads for a moment before Megumi broke the silence.
"But what about all the blood around here?"
"I suggest we run before anyone comes and gets some ideas." And with that the fled the area.

[Gus]

((Mwheheh, well he does have a spirit. It wandered away, but it's still around. That'll be important later. And as a side note, he wasn't decapitated. His head was crushed))

((OOC: Yeha, well tehy don't know that and if it's head was crushed it'd be pretty disfigured anyway.))

Running through the streets with no destination and paying no attention to where she was running. Crashing into a moving object about half her height she found herself face down in the dirt on top of a sobbing mound. Regaining her balence she brushed herself off before realising who she crashed into.
"Aww. Sorry Chance, I didn't see you there." She said softly to a younger boy with trying to hold back tears. She helped him back onto his feet as he wiped his eyes.
"Hey, what's the rush Megumi?" A familiar voice said. Looking behind her Megumi found her companion to Patch village, Kei-sun.

"That's creepy, who would have thought that anyone would clone themselves. What did you say his name was? ...George...Greg...?
"Gus, I can't beleive you've never heard of him." Megumi interupted "but that's what we're trying to find out, that and why a dead body feel off a roof." She was holding Chance on her lap, stroking his hair slightly. Being the oldest, Kei was teh first for insparation.
"Well, if you want to find out what's going on then we need to find them,"
"Right! Takehiro, Hiroko, can you guys go and find the clones?" Both the electric spirit and lynx spirit nodded in unison and set off in oposite directions.
"And we'll look for Gus and see if he knows anything about it," Megumi instructed.
"Is it okay if I leave Chance with Kovit, if this is going to get violent I don't want him to get hurt or scared." Kei asked
"uh...yeah, sure..." Megumi had heard nothing of anyone called Kovit before but if Kei knew him he must be a friend.

Kei-sun lead Chance back to the accomodation and Megumi Ran off to find Gus with Kyaa.

((OOC: I hope you don't mind me including some charcters of mine, it was the best thing I could think of))

Yuting was just walking around aimlessly when suddenly a big guy and a small guy riding on his backcame into view.
"Waoh! Who are those people?" She asked her spirit dragon, Haku.
"I have no idea but they look some like that Gus-sama that we have heard of"
"If we only heard of him then how do you know what he looks like?"
"...ummm..."
"Nevermind, but why are there three Guses?"
"Maybe we should locate the real Gus and ask him"
"Ya, but like I said how do we know who's Gus when we have never even seen him before?"
"...Then let us just follow those two."
"Okay then"
And thus a shaman of the wind and her Spirit stole silently after the two Guses.

((OOC:Ahhh! I don't know what to write! This is only my first time RPing and I don't know what to write. Is this ok Gus?))

Version 4 looked back coldly. Without Version 2, he could easily remove the new people that had started following them, but... Version 3 was in a bit of shock at V.2's 'betrayal'. Better not to push him, just to be on the safe side...

Yuting hastily hid in the shadows when one of the Guses looked over his shoulder.
"Didja think they saw us?" she asked to her spirit.
"Nah, but just to be on the safe side better be more carefull." he ansered arily,putting in complete trust that his master was the best tracker/stalker that he had ever met.

[Magenta]

Hiroko and Takehiro flew around the village trying to find the clones, their best bet was to go back to where he and Megumi found the body and then pan out from there. They soon found them near an allyway.
"Those guy's are creepy..." Hiroko quieted. Takehiro gazed softly into her eyes.
"Don't worry, I'll pretect you," he said softly.
"Okay, hold it big-shot, You havn't forgotten Megumi likes you more."
"Darn it, they're gonna get themselves killed." Takehiro suddenly brought up out of nowhere.
"hmm?" Takehiro pointed over Hiroko's shoulder to the two figures waiting in the shadows.

"How do you know they're dangerous?" Hiroko questioned. Takehiro fidgeted before giving an answer.
"When we found the dead body of one of the clones, about ten minutes before I could hear yelling coming from the roof top and it sounded like the clones. I didn't want to tell Megumi because I thought she might get involved..." He sighed.
"Shouldn't we say something to them?" Takehiro shook his head
"They might give away their position or we might."

Megumi and Kei-sun ran around asking anyone they could find, shamans, shop keepers, spirits, audience members, to teh where about's of Gus. Most people had either never heard of him, and Megumi would often wonder why tehy didn't or they just mentioned the clones. It didn't seem good until a shop keeper mentioned that he knew where they could find them.
"Thanks mister," Kei beamed before running off with Megumi.

[Renluver]

"They are not doing anything, maybe we should just go." Haku suggested.
"Yeah, besides I'm getting hungry."
They proceeded to slowly move away from thealley from which they were hiding in.

((OOC: If you're talkng about Megumi and Kei then it would be a little illogical seeing as they're on the other side of patch village. But if you need something to get you noticed, then it can easily be arranged.))

Hiroko was getting a little flustered. If they didn't tell them to get away they might give away their positions if they didn't then they still might get noticed. She was releived to see them slowly sneaking away.
"phew," she whispered but at that moment a supposedly dead wall light suddenly switched on and kept getting brighter untill it shattered. This gave everyone a little shock
"I wish you wouldn't do that," Takehiro glared
"sorry!" The only thing was now, Yuting was covered in glass...

((OOC: before you ask Hiroko has a little problem in that when ever she gets annoyed or scared she often stores up electrical charges and releases them when she relaxes but this charges are automatically sent to any nearby electrical equipment, often over loading it))

Haku had covered his master's mouth before she could cry out and reveal their position.
"Be quiet or else we're gonna get caught!" he whispered.
"Easy for you to say! You aren't the one covered in glass!" she whispered back.
"Well, let's just get outta here, k?"
"Yeah, let's go."
