I think that is referring to you trying to be on more than one team.
Your new character could be on a team, but you just wouldn't register and fight as them. I think that is what Lovely was getting at!
I think it would be better if EVIL Lovely graced us with her prescence and cleared this up once and for all!

Basically, the rule is refering to someone being "clever" and making multiple accounts so they can role play as multiple characters.
So it's fine if you make up a character to be your antagonist. Try not to be annoying about it though. As long as you don't have this new character starting threads and things, it's fine.

While that would have been cool, wouldn't it have given Gus a little too much power to be able to mutate people.
No offense Gus, but I think you would be too powerful to be considered a normal adversary!
