Uh... moved this thread 'cause most of the pics are pics of the poster (by the poster). And also because this sub-forum needs more love ^^;.
Oh, and people, get used to Lobster already. He speaks his mind, just take it with a grain of salt.
Anyhoo. I liked the first one the most.

You should work on the movement and folds in clothing.

Ankari, you'll never improve your art if you can't take criticism. ^_^; Criticism is never going to be "That's so pretty! I like the first one!" Lobster may have said it in a rude tone, but he was giving you REAL criticism, not just being nice like most people are.
Take Sam (lunaticcrow) for example. She gave you real criticism instead of just complimenting your work. While I do like the first one-- yes, you should work on proportion. Anatomy is very important when drawing. Even if it was anime or cartoon style, you ALWAYS have to take anatomy into account.

Ankari, what the others said. You need to learn to take CC or you'll never improve. Lobster-chan may be harsh in saying it but um yeah, you need to work on some things.
I like them alright, but you do need to work on proportions. Draw the heads smaller and the bodies longer. ^^; The more I look at them, the more I think she needs to really work on proportion. x.o So yeah. I do like the hands and clothes though.

Personally I think that a good comment should contain what you like about the work and what you think could be improved, after all, no-one really likes hearing everything that's wrong about their work, it just lowers their confidence (unless they never take critisism personally but I've never met anyone like that.)
Yes, like people have stated the anatomy does need a little work, of corse it doesn't need to be perfect, just making the arms legs and body a little longer, unless you were going for a bit of a chibi look. If that's the case then the anatomy seems fine. The neck is a bit too thick in my opinion but that's just me. I really like the clothing designs though. Not to mention the use of colour on the clothes is good as well but they look a little flat, just a few folds can make quite a difference, if you look up tutorials on google you can find quite a few (personally I find folds quite hard to draw). You have quite a distinct style with the eyes however in some pictures they look a little dis proportioned but on others they seem fine. The hair could use a little more shading but I really like the way it's drawn, it flows quite nicely.
Sorry if that was hard to read. Even with the odd mistake here and there you have quite alot of potential. I know when people just critisize your work it can be a little disheartning but remember, they're judging your work, not you. And besides, everyone can imrove, no matter how skilled they are and about half of art is opinion. If you don't let them get you down and you keep practicing then who knows what you could achive.

Hrm. Dammit, why cant everyone stop mislabling these threads. >_<
If you say its horrible, then I click on it, hoping for some laughs. This, is not horrible. It needs a little improvement, but I was looking for MUCH worse.
Uh, yah. The eyes... dunno, they just seem, too BIG to me. But then again, thats the way I tend to feel about most eyes done in this style, so...>>;; meh. Still screws with me, tho.

I had the same thoughts as Gus for clicking on this link...
I'm the absolute worst person to give you advice on art or to critique your work, but I about to so listen up:
I honestly don't think they're BAD. Sure they could be better. All drawings could. But, I think these are good. I've seen worse. Much worse. I love the eyes. You followed the instructions in your book well there. Now, with the anatomy and proportion thing. I think they should be elongated if you want them to look more human, but If you want them to look like animated characters, you may not need to change it much. Can't think of anything else right now. Keep working on it. The worst thing you could do is stop drawing.

My art started off bad, and people said it was good. So now that my drawing has vastly improved, I never get compliments. How strange is that?

I think the same holds true with all serious artists. You start off bad and get better. check my thread for a picture out of my first sketchbook. /shameless plug
