If all fails with the sound recorder, you could go search for a program called Audacity you can export as WAV in it.
I don't know of any besides that Sound recorder (or windows sound recorder) it's ok but can only get 1 minute at a time witch probably in this case would be a good idea.
It should be where Ashil was talking about.
