If there is a thread like this somewhere, please direct me to it. I couldn't find it. Thanks.
What is the biggest lie you've ever told? Did you get caught? If you did, what happened? If you've never told a lie before in your life, do you have a lie that has been told about you? How did it affect you?
EDIT: Um, sorry. I forgot to mention a lie I told. *Deep breath* I don't know if this counts as the biggest lie ever, but it was major for me so... Okay, when I was in the ninth grade I knew a girl that was nothing but trouble. She was a weed head and always skipped school. I knew this because our lockers were next to each other. One day on my way to homeroom I stopped at my locker to get a book. When I opened the door there was a knife on the top shelf. Of course, someone's idea of a joke. I took it out and put it in my pocket. She (I'll call her Jordan) came down the hallway, spoke and opened her locker. When she got her things and slammed the door, it didn't close all of the way. So, I slipped the knife in her locker and ran to class. Okay, that happened to be the day they did random locker searches with the dogs and such and I got Jordan kicked out of school. Oh, I felt so bad. I sat on it for 3 months until I finally went to the principal and told her what I did. It turns out the knife was hers anyway. She was setting me up, and I actually felt guilty. *grumbling noises*

Person 1: I'm a pathological liar. Person 2: Really? Person 1: No. Person 1: Oh. .... hey wait ... Which leads us to my statement. I'm a pathological liar .

I basically lie about my entire life to my parents. And after about 4 years of doing so (gradually) it seems to be working! But hey, if I don't do sleep, and get 8 hours of drugs, who cares, right?! (heh, just kidding, I don't do drugs, the quote was taken from mrtlecture.ytmnd.com/)

Would that make you a pathological liar, Throes? I don't lie because I'm no good at it and whenever I would do it, I would quickly admit to it because I'd feel guilty. I'm a wuss, I've been told. Example: In highschool I threw a girl out of my car while I was driving and she hit the ground pretty hard. I went home and told my parents I was at the library until 10 and then at the store looking for paper. She went to the hospital because she had a concussion and her brother called me and told me what happened. I immediately told him what happened with the car, he told his parents and they told my mother.

How did you throw her out, Renna? I mean, seriously, did you prod her or something? And, serously, you have to be the meanest person I know. I don't know anyone that would "throw" someone out of a moving vehichle (sp?). The biggest lie I've ever told? Well, I'm not going to confess it here, because it might make me seem like a hypocrite.

Yeah, I wasn't proud of it at all. But yes, it really did happen. Here's how:
I was driving and she was yelling at me. It was a very bad argument and she opened her door like she wanted to get out while the car was moving. I told her she didn't have to wait so I pushed her. Since the door was already open I guess the force of the moving vehicle and my shove ousted her onto the pavement. My anger management skills weren't so great back then.
*holds chest* Crap AF, no one's ever said I was "the meanest person they've ever met before"...

Uh... I'm... not helping, am I? T.T Heh, not really much help. But, can you really help out in a situation like that? Throwing someone out of a moving car and then lying about it to get out of trouble is much more serious than lying about a grade on a test or something. Especially over something as petty as an arguement. Even if you call yourself a wuss, that's no excuse for doing something like that. Renna, I hope you don't make decisions like that in the future, because someone could be hurt even worse next time. But, that's all in the past and doesn't matter anymore. When I was younger, I used to lie to get myself out of trouble all the time. That is, until I realized that lying about something you did only makes things worse. Not only do you have guilt weighing on you for what you did, but people tend to trust you less if you can't tell them the truth.

The purpose of this thread was to share the biggest lie you've ever told. (or one of the biggest if you do it frequently) It was not intended for the small ones like lying about a grade or who took the last cookie out of the cookie jar. With that being said:
To clear things up, (once and for all, I hope) I already said I wasn't proud of what I did. It was mentioned because it qualified as one of the worst lies I've ever told. (and I haven't told many) It was no "petty" argument. It was actually extremely sadistic and graphically demented. I will not elaborate. But of course, something like that would not enter my thought process today as a course of action. I am a completely different person now than I was then. I am much more stable and less violent. The people I converse with now wouldn't believe that story because of the personality I have now. So I thank you for the bit of advice on my judgment, though I'm sure was well intended, but it's unnecessary.
Nowadays, I have become brutally honest. I don't lie because like Toto mentioned, I feel guilty. I also don't like deceiving people.

OMG...please do not start again...this is a stupid argue....AF....Renna was sorry for doing that and besides...we all do stupid stuff at a certain age...and thank God the girl wans't hurt..i mean it was probably her fault Renna actually had to throw her out of the car in the first place....not that i agree with what she has done...but that was in the past so we don't have to throw bricks at those who have done something wrong in the past....... Sorry Lovely-sama and Renna-sama for budging in and bashing the thread........v_v
