I've seen enough of these sites online that I just laugh now when I read the stuff. It is very sad and is very insulting to some Christians (like myself). We don't need some schmuck telling us what's right and wrong, we already know, thank you.
I find that if you teach your children what is right and what is wrong they will listen to you. If they enjoy watching Pokemon and know it's fantasy and those creatures don't exist they aren't going to go praying to them. Kids aren't stupid, if you hide something from them they will go out and find out about it either from the internet or from another friend. I guess you could just seclude them from the entire world if you were really that overprotective. No tv, no internet, no phone, no friends, home school them, don't even let them outside to look up at the sky for they might see a shape in the clouds that looks like...oh dare I say it...a tree...an evil tree.
Seriously though, I just ignore these people. They make for a good laugh half the time, the other half of the time they do scare me a little with their logic. They will always be around to criticize every little thing including Barney and Sesame Street, so there really isn't any point in worrying about it I find. They will always read too deep into something and ultimately call it evil because someone did the most micro action.

I wouldn't worry about that site too much. They seem to find a problem with EVERYTHING it seems. I myself am Christian, but fundamentalist like that are a bit creepy. Heh, it's funny to think if the person who wrote that site would have seen the original Shaman King a bit futher on. I'm convinced that the "X-Laws" are a sort of jab at fundamentalist. "see, this is what happens when you become fanatical about your faith." I love Shaman King though BECAUSE it has all those spiritual, mythological themes. Very interesting if your into those sort of thing. EDIT: Ooh, I just noticed that the person writing the article didn't get the implication that "the Great Spirit" that the Shaman Fight participants try to "win" the honor of working with is actually implied to be God himself . Heh, that person would of really freaked out if they looked in the manga and saw Manta commenting that Jesus might have been a former Shaman King ;D.

Pokemon are not spirits, it's Digimon: Digital Monsters, not demon, and his name is Yami, not Yugioh. Obiviously these people aren't paying any attention to the actual show and are just looking out for anything that goes against their religious beliefs and labels it as "evil" even though the Bible says we don't have the right to judge other people. Seriously, they're just freaking cartoons. I could understand why parents wouldn't want to let their kids watch the Japanese version of some of these shows (like Yugioh, for example), but the English versions are edited to death so they can be viewed by kids without having their parents worry about them being traumitized. I'm a Christian as well, but I don't act anything like that. If I stopped watching every tvshow that went against my religious beliefs, I wouldn't have very much left to watch. But I don't and do they know why? Because it's just entertainment. It's not real. What're they going to do about how they teach evolution to kids at school in Science class? *rolls his eyes* It's not like kids are worshipping these things. I doubt half of the kids even pay attention to the sermon on Sunday mornings at church and if they don't even pay any attention to that, what makes the parents think they'll pay any attention to the stuff in cartoons? The kids only like watching cartoons because of the cool stuff. Not to worship it. Besides, it's up to the parents to teach their kids what's right and what's wrong, not television. Do they think they're any better if they controlled television and tried to "brainwash" everyone with their beliefs? Thankfully, not all Christians are like that. To bring some relief to this thread, check out this cool site: www.christiananime.net/index.php It's an anime review site done by Christians, but they're not all strict and everything like the person who did this rant about Shaman King was. I find it to be an enjoyable site and while I don't agree with everything they say, they at least show respect for others who don't share their beliefs.

yay repliers Saturn, it's very stupid all they can do is fuss about TV shows when there are other things they could fuss about. I my self know a few girls who can't watch shaman king but they can watch Pokemon and Digmon they are bared from just about everything. Takato, yea I don't think he knew enough about the shows before he wrote about them. I wander if he even watched them. it's also very good to see Christian people out there who show respect. like the curch in my town is all :you have to go out and sperad the word it dosen't matter what their beliefs are: yea someone acluly said that to me, But I think it dose matter I would not want someone saying to me... :I don't care about you beliefs mine matter:... Lovely Lovely, yea the x-laws do seem like jab at fundamentalist. yea shaman king is pretty good it's different all the characters have their different backgrounds and stuff, like real life where not everyone is Christian, I don't think most Christians can deal with that. and yea that person dose not know what he's talking about they really need to read or watch before they review and not be scared about the title. OHWceta, myself I don't agree with Bush but still some people are really nuts about it when the fact is Bush will probly need to keep his post to finsh what he started. a long post

Oh my god that guy or people WHOEVER wrote that is totally screwed up.I mean he's not just screwed up this guy is seriously screwed up.T.V would not be any source of Mind control by thy devil (even though he's just a man whom roams the streets having Sex with Young teenage girls and sells crack). That's just completely amazing how somebody can see that in a very screwed up way.Whoever wrote that lives in La la land.T.V is not a source of sourcery.Sometimes it can be a source of information.God would not Agree that these would be in the lines of sins or crap,They're just shows. That would be funny if they would have a protest against that.I've never read anything stupider in my life,Except for that funny one Where the poor kid died at the Bottom of the sea trying to find Spongebob....That kid was really dumb....
