I'm wishing you lots of luck for this and even though we've never actually met judging from the other difficulties you've endured as written in some of your other posts on this board I think you're a really strong person mentally and emotionally and I know all these medical problems suck (this coming from a person who constantly revolves around doctors most of the year) but hang in there and I'm sure you'll be alright.  *sends lotsa positive e-vibes* |

Some of you have asked why I'm having surgery or the story behind it. I'll incorporate an explanation in this post...
Okay, so I have a disease called idon'trememberwhatthedoctorsaid-itis. This disease causes me to develop a tumor-like cyst in my body. Now, if it stays in my body too long, it gets infected and ruptures. If it ruptures the poision from it can get into my blood stream. If this happens I die. And I have this tremendous, cramp-like pain to boot. Now, this isn't the hair-follicle thing. It has nothing to do with hair. (Usually when you mention cysts people think you're talking about a hair bump.) No, my arm was pregnant. (Whoa, hope that didn't disgust you...)
When I met with the surgeon, he took a look at it and said, "We have to get you to the hospital now!" So I said, "Can I go home first and change and get a bag?" He said, "Okay, but hurry." So I went home, got some clothes, took a shower (cause I refused to do it at the hospital) and posted a message in SKU and LiveJournal that I was going. At the time I was freaking out. I HATE doctors...
Anyway, I had the surgery 2 hours late because 2 critical patients had to jump in front of me. I honestly don't remember the surgery because they gave me so much anesthesia.
SOME PERKS:
After the surgery, they put me in a nice big room to recover. I woke up in this room and didn't know how I got there. But it was huge, and I didn't have to share it.
The TV had cable. Now, Renna hasn't had cable since the 6th grade. And If you know how old she is, this is a big deal... I watched Full metal Alchemist, Duel Masters, a Civil War special on the History channel, Scooby Doo, Kim Possible, (hate that show but at the time I couldn't work the remote) Blue Gender, and some other anime where they were all trying to kill each other. It was on Adult Swim. Don't remember the title...
So right now I'm at home recuperating. They have nurses to come to my house for Outpatient care. And I'm in pain...from the incision. It was a big cut. They also gave me some pain medicine and antibiotics, so I'll be sleeping a lot. I can't go back to work until the surgeon releases me. I have to go to his office for that, and it won't be until next week or Monday. So I'm at home...Which means...
I get to do absolutely nothing but be nice to the nurses and sleep!! Whoo hoo!!! So I'm going to take this free time to work on my icons (I made a cool one last week but accidentally deleted it) work on my fics, and practice the drawing thing. It has to be stuff that doesn't require much physical effort...so there you go.
Thank you everyone for your concern and positive energy. I was so scared before I went, and I'm glad it's over. Believe it or not, there's and elaborated version of this in my journal...

Thanks, Ashil. Yeah, I had to for 2 reasons:
1. I was scared to death and needed to vent...
2. I love you guys! No matter how much you all piss me off. Whoops that's the medicine talking...*bricked*
But seriously, Yeah. I'm happy (as you can see) that I'm better and suddenly have free time...
