I'm truly sorry about your loss. My best friends dad died over the break and I helped him through it. Try not to be alone too much. I'll share with you some of my grandpa's wisdom: it aint easy. (he died last march, I wish I knew him better but I took it upon myself not to cry at his funeral)

Cry. Hit something. Just take it all out on some random inanimate object. It worked for me when my grandmother died two months ago.
