Since I didn't find a techno thread, I thought I'd start one. Okay, I'm kind of getting into techno now, does anyone know any good techno bands? EDIT: I'm looking for something like "The System is Down," from Homestar Runner, where it changes quickly, and isn't the exact same thing for 2 and 1/2 solid minutes.

I may be able to recommend some to you but I don't know the difference between regular techno and house music. It's going to be kind of hard to find techno music that isn't repetitive, though.

I'm not really the one to ask when it comes to techno, but the soundtrack to Run, Lola, Run was really good.

Cascada seems to be a big hit with Techno fans right now. *shrugs* Other than that, I wouldn't know. I'm not really into Techno.

After looking at some of my old CDs, I can tell you that Deborah Cox, Amber, Fatboy Slim, DJ Sammy, and Deee-lite are good artists if you want to hear techno tunes which aren't repetitive. I hate, hate, hate, hate Darude's music, though. Whatever you do stay away from him/her/them!
(Cascada= <3)
