I love camping! I remember one time I was with my parents, my little sister and my best friend anthony, This was like 9 years ago. Anthony and I had to share this crappy green tent. It was pretty old. Anthony Has the ability to sleep through anything. About twenty minutes after I woke up and got out of the tent it collapsed on him! he slept right through it! For about FOUR HOURS!!!!!!!! omg it was so funny!

Unneeded information, dude. And why was it weird? You didn't have any Brokeback Mountain moments with your buddies did you? *shot* I'm kidding. As for myself, I only went camping twice. One time with a bunch of my relatives, when I was very little. The tents were surprisingly comfy. And another time when I was a girl scout for like three weeks, stupid counseler, but we didn't camp in tents. But do I like it? Not rly. I like building fires though.

Umhumhum, camping?
You mean like, in a tent?
I think I might've gone, like once... all I really did was throw all this stuff into the fire, though. It was uncomfortable as hell, and I didn't like it.
CONCLUSION: I can just as easily start fires in my backyard. Camping= no.

I had to go to a 'camp' for 6th grade. Only they had little houses.
(good songs though....)
I've never been in a forest camping. Only my front yard....with a night light.
I dont trust myself out in the woods... Im afraid I'd go insane with fear and start hitting people with sticks proclaiming 'in the name of all that is holy die!!' X-law wannabe?

Camping-A series of torture devices designed to make the city girl pull her hair out and cry.
Yeah, not into camping much. Fishing, I'll deal with, (because in the back of my mind I know I'm going back home the same day) but I'm not fond of being outside for extended periods of time where I live...

Am I the only one who actually likes camping? I know bug are annoying, but its better when you look past it. I've camped in the smoky mountains 2 or 3 times. I rode my bike around Cades Cove. It is one of the most beautiful and peaceful place I have ever been to in my life. It's a "besuto puresu." I think it's what america looked like 200 years ago. (these aren't my pictures, but I didn't take them from a photographers site, its random)

I like camping too, but not for too long. I like camping if there's a dangerous object to jump from in the middle of a lake, and a hill to speed down on your bike, or something to keep you occupied. Otherwise, no. Scenery is also a must. I'd go camping for a long period of time if I had an RV or a pop up trailer, or something with electricity. I'd prefer the RV though because of built in toilets and showers. I like camping to not get away from city life, but rather the city itself. It's secluded, quiet, peaceful, serene. Fires are always a plus, especially when Marshmallows, chocolate, and gram crackers are involved.

Psh. Here in Nicaragua you can camp in your own yard and it would seem like you're in the forest already. D: As long as you don't live in the clustered parts of the city, it's peaceful and quiet in ANY neighborhood.
I have the misfortune of living in front of the street though. >_>

So no. Not a fan of camping really. Camfires are kind of fun though. The fire.... The fire *_* ....
Oh, and Resurie's comments made me giggle (the first set.)

That's hilarious. I remember melting half a box of plastic spoons. fun. Other times, my stepdad would flip the windshield washers switch before my mom started the car and we would act as if nothing happend.
