I'm not sure if this really belongs here, but here goes...
I was reading a magazine (can't quite remeber the name of it) that featured cross anime battles. So let's do that here... however there will be no bashing of characters (anime, manga, video game, or American) allowed. You must referee your own matches, and the battles will go on until a winner is decided or until you say "no contest" which ends the fight in a tie. Oh yeah, don't be biased... one hit kills don't count and keep it clean.
I'll try to start us off...
MetaKnight rushed out to the battlegrounds, listening to the screaming crowds that looked down upon her.
"And now let me introduce our first fighters... the demon Amidamaru and the unshakable Samurai Jack!!!"
"Come at me with everything you've got!!!" Amidamaru growled, stepping into a battle stance as he stared down the black haired samurai that faced him.
"I will show you no mercy..." Jack said calmly, unsheathing his sword and preparing for the battle. MetaKnight held her hands up, giving them both a look that meant jumping the gun will not be tolerated.
"Ready? Fight!!!" she roared, leaping out of the way as the two samurai pounced each other, brandishing their deadly swords. Jack quickly dodged Amidamaru's first strike, leaping in the air to use his famous horse-cutter technique.
"What is this?!" Jack gasped realizing that his sword uselessly passed through Amidamaru's shoulder and merely collided with the floor. Almost immediately, Amidamaru turned around, bringing his legendary sword upon the surprised samurai prince's head... only for it to pass harmlessly through his flesh down to his feet.
"What the?!" he gasped, staring at the unwounded Samurai Jack. But quickly enough, both of the samurai became rather frustrated, launching their best techniques at each other... but to no avail.
"Wait!" Jack commanded, stopping his attack abruptly as Amidamaru's sword harmlessly swished right through him.
"What is it?"
"I am alive whereas you are a ghost..." Jack explained, resheathing his sword. "Ghosts can not touch things within the physical world just as I can not touch things in the spiritual world." Amidamaru sighed and nodded in agreement, reseathing his own sword.
"True, we can't even touch each other, let alone cause any harm," he said, as MetaKnight stumbled over, blasting herself for making a ridiculous match-up.
"Sorry about that guys," she muttered before turning to the crowds and raising a hand up in the air. "No contest!!!!"
