As the title says, what were you like in the past when you first came to SKU? I'm bored, I haven't started a thread in ages, leave me alone. 8(

Anyway, what were you like? Were you more serious, more cheerful, an idiot noob, etc?

I myself was a noob. Oh yeah, I rocked. It's kind of disturbing to look back (here AND in LiveJournal) and see what a complete idiot you were, especially when it was only about two years ago... It even makes me wonder how I become a mod-- it'sbecauseyoulovemeright,Lovely?

I've definately changed, I'm not that OMG YAY anymore, and I don't abuse smileys... and... other stuff.

Haha, oh god, I was much more timid than I am now. At least I don't have over 1800 posts like some one people!

Other than that, back then I was pretty much expiramenting with tons of anime seeing what I liked alot and what I didn't. I ended up liking manga and original anime the best. XD The ONLY anime I am currently watching that's based on a manga would be One Piece. I need another good original series like FLCL or Samurai Champloo though, those were win-good.

No,no, my post count was always above Resurie's...
I've never messed with my post count, though I was tempted in the begining. I just have so many posts because, well, I have to respond to stuff a lot, try to keep some threads from dying, try to start threads....
And I've been double posting a little bit here and there. Sometimes out of necessity, sometimes, no reason ^^;.

But yeah, I never noticed it's gotten that high. I stopped paying attention after it passed 2,000.
Akito has a naturally high post count too by the by . It's fun to look at the stats and stuff sometimes.

As a note though, Res' stars don't have anything to do with her post count, it has to do with her mod status.


Speaking of Res, the reason Res became a mod was because of that "mod application thread" I did a waaaay back. I needed more mods DESPERATLY back then, and Resurie gave a good reason for wanting to be a mod she had some other people suggest her as well.
Of course, she and Jr started competing at one point in that thread and it started getting really weird.... That still makes me laugh sometimes occasionally. (Res and Jr became mods at the same time.)

Ok, seriously, the way I've changed over the years. Board wise. I kind of think I'm bitchier, or at least come off that way. Sorry all! Each year I grow, more and more bitter.
Honestly, the main way I changed is that I think I used to be able to write better. Well, not at first (the first 15 or so comparisons make me cringe. The emoticons! The emoticons!)
But there was a point after that where I really liked how I wrote the comparisons and other things a lot. Now a days, I think I ramble too much, too long, and over explain things. I feel I come off as pretentous ....
That or I just give short replies 'cause I can't really think of anything.

It's kind of depressing really...

I was posting anywhere I could before now it seems like there isnt much of a reason for me to. (Dont bring much to the convo anyway) and I seem to make threads go dead for a while after posting...
But for whatever reason I've become less hyper, more shy and selective....in my own way. I dont use smilleys as much anymore...Only when I actully feel like the smiley.

God, I was EXTREMELY newbish when I first came here, what with the stupid threads, the posts loaded with spelling and/or grammar errors, and anyone here remember my old Lyserg bashing? Luckily, I learned over the last year, and I feel that I'm (or at least hope I'm) a bit more mature.
