If toy hunting isn't your routine (hehe I use absurdly long walks as a cover), I suggest you call ahead or buy online.
Because even Winx Club, which is supposed to be a power seller, is not sold that widely.

Good places to go: Collectors stores specializing in or including anime goods, specialty toystores like Puzzle Zoo, close-out stores that carry toys... Now you may get lucky at a Toys R Us every now and then. There were 2 chibi SK toys left at the Times Square store until I got there. And some of the more remote stores may still have SK toys in stock- or perhaps even gotten them later. I found He-Man and YGO figures (both Mattel- man, they don't know how to distribute action figures) I'd been seeking out since Dec. '02 in a Miami TRU Augut last year. Still, I highly suggest you call ahead because toy collecting can be an extremely frustrating venture.

I was looking at the back of my Len box (I kept it, yes) which shows pictures of the other figures that were released at the time. And Ryu comes with A REPLACEMENT HEAD!!!!!!!!! Has anyone noticed this/ does anyone own a Ryu action figure who can verify this for me?!? The second head (which was shown in the picture yet not attatched to the Ryu doll) has the hair cut off. Oh! Or maybe that second head was showing that the Ryu-figure's hair could be removed??? Didn't somebody mention that earlier? Although I think that the expressions were different... In the image, Ryu appeared to be looking down, terrified, at his own decapitated head lying on the ground. XD Just a random question, does the 'Trey' figure come off of the snowbord, or is he attatched to it?
Oh, and I saw some Winx Club toys at Target a while back. I don't remember seeing any Shaman King toys, though...

Has anyone noticed this/ does anyone own a Ryu action figure who can verify this for me?!?... Yep. He comes with a replacement head. He's actually one of the plentiful figures in the LA area... meaning he was either heavily packed in the assortment or the least popular figure in the line. EDIT: Also, I think Mattel's having distribution problems in the US. Dark Magician Girl first appeared on toy cardbacks a year ago and I found no trace of her in my toy searches (at least once a week)... until I went to a Monoprix (kinda like a K-Mart) near the Versailles chateau. In Paris, I found my first of the following Mattel products: Dumbledore and Voldemort from the Potter line, and the new Winx girl... Last year, I found my first HP Dementor in France as well- seen no more than 3 over the 13 months since.
