I also didn't catch opachos's voice sounding like Mokuba until this episode.

That voice is very ambiguous itself. I can see them going either direction with opacho's gender.

Is it important to the plot that she be a girl?

Not in the anime (don't know about the manga but... I'm thinking not XD .)

I think Opacho was just created to give people something to argue over *laughs*.

I thought Opacho was a girl from when I first saw Northern Lights... I guess I just made a lucky guess, or something. Mabey it was the clothing, although Chocolov does wear that.. dress-like thing doesnt he... Anyways, how old is she anyways? Such a child doesnt really seem like the type Hao would want around, she must be, really strong. Either that or Hao has a soft spot for young children

i think its just because of opachos loyalty. im sure they mention the history of it later in the episode, but opacho loves hao live a dad, really. hes his most loyal follower.(even if he doesnt LOVE hao like ashil does...*shifty eyes*)

thats probably because they own all 3 dubs...and theyre too cheap to hire new VAs....

and a person doesnt necesarily need to sound the same for every voice they do...im not really surprised...

and opacho isnt very strong...she can turn into a sheep...o_0....shes able to spy on people, and find locations...or something like that.....

For the first question, Opacho's first speaking roll was in ep. 26 or something like that when he said "this country is to cold" or something like that. I think Opacho's voice might be Mocoba's voice, just with a different tinge to it. It sounds ALOT like Mocoba's voice to me though. 4kids uses pretty much all the same voice actors in all their stuff.

4kids is too cheap to hire alot of actors.Mostly they reuse the same voices over and over.As a matter of fact, if you listen to the extras in dubs they usually always sound like Eric Stuart.......I wonder if he gets paid by the word?

Anyway, yeah, I think Opacho and Mokuba's VAs are the same.Which is intresting becuase they both have their original names.......sorry, I just noticed that and I found that intresting at least.
