I think you were supposed to believe that she was japanese, but everything in the town was chinese. Wasn't that the joke anyway?
Anyhoo, I forgot to weigh in on the Anna/Yoh scene with the chameleon ghost.
I loved how yoh and Amidamaru talked afterward about how Yoh lived his dream of getting to boss Anna around. Too bad it will never happen in real life and they both sob. I loved it and I thought it was stange how they made fake Anna have a more girly voice.
And Amidamaru's line about Anna would never want to do something so fun or something like that. That scene was great.
I thought Sharona's ghost was kinda cute. She looked so scared when she was kidnapped by Tilda.
Ugh, Tilda was so ugly though.

Actually Lyserg's fantasy was a lot different than what I was expecting. I figured it'd be more like this...

Oh I also feel that Kororo stole all the scenes she was in. And Horo Horo, heres another reason to love her. She can keep your pepsi cold.

Was Hao actually glad his shikigami were defeated in the original. It seems that nothing upsets this guy!!  Apparently not...XD (sigh thats why i love--erm like him...yea..) I belive that Hao wasnt upset because he found out someone in the Asakura family was powerful enough to defeat his shikigamis (i.e -Anna...) in a later episode, when the two actually meet up...*begins to laugh madly* youll have to wait... XP |

I loved thie eppy but one thing I was wandering...
Dose Ryu know the diffenecne between boys and girls... anyway I think Ryu wishes Lyserg was a girl XD err...I bet he wishes Yoh, Ren, and Horo were girls too.

I had more thoughts, and I've seen the episode, I just don't have many thoughts outside of Warcraft right now ^_^; (BLAME LC AND SATURN FOR NOT HAVING THE EPISODE COMPARISON YET!)

The original "joke" involved Ren saying that there is no such thing as "American HotSprings". So, when Horohoro see's all the hotspring pariphanelia Horohoro was simply amazed that it existed in America at all ^^;.
EDIT (off topic): Oh yeah, "World of Warcraft". Laggy as heck, but I can't help but enjoy myself ^^;. Hopefully, this intrest will pass. For all our sakes ^_~ .
