Does anyone notice any similarity between the voice of Dean Venture from The Venture Brothers and the dub voice of Trey?

Venture Brothers is an original show on Cartoon Network. It looks stupid, but I find it oddly hilarious ^^;. Anyhoo, reading this post, I didn't think the two voices sounded the same, However, it turns out they are . Heh, small world huh ^^ ? |

What the hell is with the topic name, nothing to do with the post at all. Yes it does. The catch prase that the boys use in team venture is "GO TEAM VENTURE" , HHKyoyama was just making a joke to connect the show to Shaman King. |

true....true but why the winx? i guess he just believed in himself to much. thats how it starts ya know. *laughs more* thats weird. i caught of right away that skye (blond one) was the same guy as yugi, and brandon was tristan, but didnt quite catch trey being riven. maybe its better that way. that was a VERY akward morning. i go from hearing Brock confess love to some random chick, to Seto freaking at yugi, to Marco preacing about light and justice. WEIRD MAN. i could just see seto preaching about light, marco confessing his love to a random girl, and brock a duelest. but, its a REALLY funny sight. especially the marco one. amazing what they can do when you use the same VA's, ne? |

That's a good one darkness. It seems like 4kids only has like 5 VA's to cover all of their animes. Everytime I turn around I hear Seto Kaiba or Yugi in a new show.
I understand that SOMEONE had to do voices for the Winx club Lovely. And I had no idea at all that Riven was Trey. That is pretty impressive voice acting. Almost as impressive as Eric Stuart and his range with James from Pokemon and still being able to do Brock, Seto, and Marco.

Well between the two of them Peter Cullen and Frank Welker did half the cast for both Transformers and GI Joe in the 80's. Course they seemed better at doing different voices. Well I guess the electronic effect for Tranformers may have helped.
