Looks like the opening themes are pretty much tied, so to spice things up, lets make a decision about the endings.
Unlike the opening themes, I think that the endings vot here is going to be pretty much one-sided. Both of the opening themes were so awesome, and they both got you all revved up to watch Shaman King. Even though I chose Northern Lights, they both rock, and are both on my mp3 player!!
But here, I'm going to have to sway strongly towards Omokage. Omokage is all mysterious and everything. Most of all, IT FOCUSES ON MANKIN'S HOTTEST CHARACTER!! ANNA!!
But Trust You...I dont know. It just seems too cheerful and all fairy-tale like. It just doesnt suit Shaman King's relatively darker storyline. Not that Shaman King's dark or anything, but its not all bright and happy like in Trust You.
Give me some thoughts guys...

"Trust You" I don't actually like. So much in fact, that I never even bothered to put the t.v size version on this site ^^;. It's not BAD mind you, I just think it's kind of boring, and it doesn't do anything interesting musically speaking. I will admit that the visuals for this are cute.
Now, Omokage I LOVE. First the visuals, very interesting and symbolic with Anna, the broken glass/mirror, the stars. It's just pretty.
But what I REALLY love is the song itself, especially the full version. The reason I like the full version is because it has a great musical interlude that I really like (very strong violins).
I don't know, I enjoy the beat and the music to this song, that's all ^^;.
(by the by, I know someone who doesn't like the song because she says it sounds a bit like disco ^^;. Heh, well, to each their own .)
EDIT: my info was mixed up a bit, it's fixed now ^^.

definatly Omokage for me. I love the song, the instrumental break in the song is awsome. I've always wondered....why is Hao in Omokage? o_0...as if he has something to do with Anna....AND if you listen--well..read the lyrics...it looks awfully suspicious...as if 'Anna' is referring to Hao.....T_T, also, atg the beginning, when the flying glass showing the three, after Hao's glass pops up, Anna pops up again looking..umm..'hurt'....also, at the end of the Omokage theres a shot of Yoh and Hao in the broken glass, where Anna puts her hand up, but when she does, it looks like shes covering Yoh and putting her fingers on Hao...  I'm not a HaoxAnna fan, I'm just pointing out some suspicious points...there HAS to be a reason why Hao's in Omokage, it wouldn't make any sense if he was just there for no reason.... Hao: I must be in Omokage so all the fangirls can see me! Anna: what fangirls? T_T Hao: *glare* Yoh: *smile* (well hes always smiling isnt he?!) As for Trust You, well I never really liked it...like Lovely said, it's not bad...it's just....shoujo-ish...if you would listen to the song before actually seeing SK, you wouldn't think it's from SK.....plus the part where the song goes "why are more and more people dreaming of the world, laugh all the way?" (or something like that, I'm too lazy to go check my cd for the lyrics...) is just annoying...I don't know...it sounds too high..... well, resurie's done  |

I like Omakage better, but I sort of like Trust You. Ironically enough, I *don't* have an mp3 of Omokage, but I DO have an mp3 of Trust You.

I'm not a HaoxAnna fan, I'm just pointing out some suspicious points...there HAS to be a reason why Hao's in Omokage, it wouldn't make any sense if he was just there for no reason.... From what I've heard*, apparently in the manga there is a bit of a love triangle between the three. However, it's not hit on in the anime. I figure the ending is just a shout out to the manga fans. * Remember, Lovely hasn't actually read much of the manga yet. Poor Lovely... |

While I nearly voted for the U.S. ending just to be funny, I had to vote for Omokage.
Trust You is alright. I actually like almost all of the SK songs I have on my hard drive, but Omokage is way better.

I love Omokage, but the Spanish version of Trust You is just funny. The backup vocals sound like Muppets...and unlike Oversoul, they managed to translate it in such a way that the syllables match up, so it sounds very odd....

Actually there might be a dub ending. I remember back when Transformers RID was airing, one episode they didn't do the ads for other shows during the end credits. And there was indeed an acutal ending theme(Think it was a remix of the opening) and actual sequence of show clips for an ending. Hmmnn that reminds me I need to track down Marrionnete.

for those of you americans (including asian-americans like me) Happy Thanksgiving!! Because of the pilgrims, I get two days off school!!! YAY!! ^-^
btw, if the pilgrims had killed a cat instead of a turkey on that fateful day, we would all be eating pusy today. ^-^
...sorry, off topic
anyway, as I was enjoying my beautiful Thankgiving Day off, I celebrated by watching the first two episodes of Shaman King again!! ^-^ but then, as I saw the Trust You ending, I was thinking "They're showing Anna! And she's very close to Yoh!! Isn't that a spoiler?" since Anna doesnt show up until episode 5.
eh...but I'm just being annoying, I didn't really expect the guys in Japan to have a different ending just for the first four episodes.

I like "Trust You" better than "Omokage," and I also appear to be the first to vote this way. I like both endings - the songs. It irritates me that they both revolve a lot around YohxAnna. The beauty of the couple is how subtle they are. You *know* they care about one another without it being all...
EXAMPLE:
Yoh: I love you so much, Anna! You are more beautiful than any other girl! You eyes are like....*rambles*
Anna: I love you too, Yoh! You are so strong and wonderful! I know you will be Shaman King because you...*rambles*
*SMOOOOOOOOOCH*
