the only name translation i know is:
Asakura- 'leaf' (in jap.) Hao- King (in jap.)
so in other words his name means 'Leaf King' XD, yohs simply means 'leaf', which is probably why all his cloths have cannabis on them XD

Amidamaru:"Amida" is either A)One of the JP names for Buddha or B)Part of a Buddhist prayer, depending on who you listen to. "Maru"(which literally means "circle") is a common name ending for a samurai.

One would guess it is...why do you need to know?
One reason that Horohoro might not be able to be found is that traditionally, no Ainu have the same exact name, and the Ainu language is pretty hard to find information on since the Japanese tried to wipe them out/assimilate them (depends on historical era) since before the fifteenth century. Believe me, I tried to find out.
Morphine: A drug made from opium poppies. It is sometimes used to relieve pain, is highly addictive, and can cause severe constipation. Causes hallucinations, a narcotic. (Taken from my not-so-coherent health class notes.)
Trey is not Latin for three, I don't know why two people have come up with that. Three in Latin is tres. It's pronounced sort of like Trey, but...no. It doesn't mean three.

It should also be mentioned that "Horo Horo" is not actually Horo's real name and it's actually his nickname. I forget his real name though ^^; (it DOES start with "horo" I believe though.)
His real name isn't mentioned in the anime, by the by.
