Thank goodness! Someone else realized that Faust's glasses look like Melvins! *imagine Melvin running into young faust* melvin: what snazzy glasses you have there! *pointing* YF: right back at yah! *dorky winking* both:*walk away* both: what a dork... P.S. love your signature... XD!! Ahaha!!! XD Thats good! And thanks! I like yours too! OH! And does everyone remember that picture a while back with Faust in the glasses as an adult? I think that picture with the glasses are actually sun glasses. OH! and maybe the blue thing is prostetics... or somthing. |

gaw i wish i could but thats all ive got really consering the topic but i could of course make a series liek that one i did with YYH..."It's jus t a theory" you compile a bunch of things....actully maybe all the things in 'things that go through a insane fans's minds' would work awsomely... anyway you take these realitvly un related ideas about a show and put them in a fan fiction... i need more time to do all theses things.... XD

I wish I was as creative as you. i just....like....not really pay attention to what going on to me and think of fan fiction ideas and most of the time there too short and end up like those tid bits... keeps me happy... you probably are creative like me you just dont realize it... |

Dude! Write a Faust loosing a contact story, onegai!!! I'll even help you, if you'd like.
A fanfic like that would roxers. You/ we can come up with a plot to go around it, like they have to enter a battle against other shaman, but Faust can only see clearly out of one eye (and thus he not only has a narrowed range of vision but limited depth perseption). And during the fight the other contact falls out and it gets all climactic... and stuff...
So, in other words, I really like your idea.
...even if I'm not sure where I stand with Faust VIII's vision now. Glasses, contacts, improved eyesight, etc. Ish undecided.

OMG i've finally gotten contact with a rather astranged Faust fanatic named Sha-chan! in a matter of hours this is what we've come up with in order ofchian raction:
This princess peach picture looked like Eliza
so we started to think of Faust as a Mario brother
but faust needed a brother so we discded to resurect FaustI to be his go-cart buddy
FaustI is freaking out in the go cart
Eliza is driving with Manta
FaustI has to drive because he's too afraid to be in the back throwing things...(he's also a computer addict XD)
this is why i love sha-chan i would have never come up with this consept EVER! so know i'm drawing FaustVIII and FaustI in a go-cart like the mario game and Eliza and Manta beat there butts XD

first theres the new show called "Bones" ovbious the connection there and then in the first episode of Reunion me and (the famous) Cheri almost had heart attacks obsessing over this line:

So I'm working on Faust cosplay and I was wondering about something... Ok, the thing that really gets me going is adding detail you can't get from a drawing or animation. I prefer soft hair to cardboard cutout hair, fabrics with texture to felt, etc. So I was wondering what you guys, the Faust fans, think of adding nail polish? I got the trenchcoat, eyeshadow, purple lipstick and orange scarf so far. Ok, so I'm just itching for an excuse to buy weird polish colors but still...

Doesn't Faust VIII wear gloves? (I'm also compiling a Fuast costume. I'm using it for Halloween, but also for any cons I may go to in the future.) I'm trying to find gloves for the costume now. White gloves.
Um... I can't remember any shots of Faust without gloves right now, so I can't remember what his hands look like. Buy polish if you want to, though! ^^
For my costume, I have so far the trenchcoat, white top hat, makeup (already had it lying around O-O) although the lipstick is black, not purple. It's so hard to get it to stay just on your bottom lip... Oh yeah, um... I have a little wooden skeleton that I got at a craft store a few years ago, I got the boots, and I'm thinking about drawing abs and a blue torso on a flesh colored shirt that I have. Is that it? The only problem is that I have dark hair. I can't find any Faust-y wigs, and I don't want to dye it (at least not permanently). I also hear that it's hard to dye dark brown hair. So, oh well. The top-hat will cover it, and it'll probably be dark anyway. It's not like anybody will be scrutinizing my costume while I trick-or-treat. Nobody's going to know who I am going as, probably...
Also, in this month's Shonen Jump, the editiors or whoever explain Faust VIII's torso. Here it is:
"Dear Shonen Jump, ... Why does Faust VIII have stitches around his chest covering his ribs?"
I'm assuming that this reffers to Faust's infamous Blue Torso (yes, it gets capitalized now.) The response is as follows:
"Faust is a rogue surgeon and he does a lot of experimental surgery on himself, replacing body parts to extend his longevity."
(next to this there is a little picture of Faust, saying "Heh heh...Don't try this at home...!")
This is a rare occasion in which SJ gives such a complete answer to a question (even they respect the Faust and his fans). I just want to know where this information came from. Later in the manga? Takei-sensei himself? Either way, has the mystery been solved?
Oh! And in a newsflash, chapter one of the Faust Looses Contact Fanfiction is completed! It just needs to be posted, which should happen soon, ja?

OMG SJ HAS A FAUST LETTER *cant wait to hug the SJ when it comes* <3 they probably wont answer my letter....(it kinda vered off in the P.S's ...there was a dog joke...and a Faust Sketch..>< =D) oh well i'll just asume Mr.Takei forgot Faust's tatoo's in those frames...
Yes *still waitng for SJ* anyway... >__> I my self am also doing a cosplay only Im Eliza....Aunty says she'll make me Eliza's Kimono for my Sweet16 gift Woot...
My friend Cheri is going as Faust so far we've discussed Plat form shoes and duck tape >o< She's shorter than me while Faust is taller than Eliza
yes Cheri is going to need like 15 inch platforms to be taller than me... >< did NOT think that part threw...
Faust in plat form shoes.... XD no two ways thats going to be funny...
Faust doesnt have any nail polish on when his glooves are off (has studded that chapter picture closely after realizing there was a beach in the back ground)
but dont fear alot of people dont know so...go nuts!

Well, nails themselves are usually considered excessive detailing for animation... especially on more limited tv budgets. Dunno if I'll have a Faust costume ready by Halloween tho'... not when I'm working on a stop-motion film. But that's totally infected my cosplay impulses. I want detail, detail, detail! Fabric textures, soft yet wild hair, and things you just can't include in sequential drawings and animation.
