Does anyone besides me and Lovely know this show? It's really great. It's a Space Western, in the style of Outlaw Star and Cowboy Bebop.
Only 11 episodes were aired on TV, but all 11 episodes, plus 3 unaired episodes, were all released in a DVD box set.

My professor lent me the DVD boxset (yes, he's a cool teacher) and I just had it sitting around the house for a while. I suspected I would like it, considering it was directed and many episodes written by Joss Wedon (of Buffy and Angel fame). Really, I like his twisted sense of humor.
Anyhoo, these past couple of days I've FINALLY gotten around to watching it and... I've fallen in love with it.
It's just SOOOO great and interesting. I love the mix of sci-fi and western. And all the characters are just so loveable *hugs them all* . I'm really kicking myself now for not watching this series back when it was on t.v.

I would prefer more t.v size episodes ;_; .... Lots of 'em. Full of Simon and River coolness XD . And Katie niceness. .... And Mal coolness. Ah heck, we'll throw in Jayne, Wash, Book,Zoe and Inara coolness as well XD ! ...I'm going through Firefly withdraw ;_; ... |
