Old news...
And technically, it's ani-manga. They just take cartoon panels and rearrange it into comic sequences.
It's not like Monsters Inc., which actually has a manga published in Japan.

hehe, im on a coin toss with sponge bob. i mean i'll watch it, but not be all "omg! a new sponge bob lawnmower!"
i think it's neat thou when they take american shows and turn them into mangas.

My Media Play shut down many years ago, and its lot hasn't been occupied since...
If someone wants a manga style Spongebob, some Japanese guy should get off his ass, make up his own style, follow Stephen Hillenburg's advice on things while making his own story, and get it published in some manga magazine for little kids. Then, that manga can be translated and released by a U.S. distrubutor.

I HATE Spongebob. How anyone above the age of 7 can stand that sponge is beyond me. Stupid is not funny. Stupid makes sane people turn insanse. Stupid causes accidents. Stupid aggrivates people. Stupid is bad. The only Spongebob character I don't hate is Squidward(who is pretty much the Anti-Spongebob). The show is just...STUPID. It's not funny. Lame puns+stupidity+stupid jokes+stupid plots+other bad things=bad show.
*ahem* Now that that rant is over with...
Since when does throwing together a bunch of screenshots and adding dialouge make something qualify as manga?

Sponge Bob rocks, seriously. It's one of the most sarcastic cartoons for children I've ever seen, it's awesome.

I would probably be sick of spongebob if I had nickelodeon, but alas, I only have about 20 channels on my tv and half of them are home shopping networks........ooohhh a vaccum cleaner and a juicer?!!! GET ME THE PHONE!!!  Since I have only seen about 3 episdoes of it, I found them entertaining and my son, who is 6 by the way, loves him and has been trying to get me to take him to the movie since it came out. I suppose if I had to live with spongebob's laugh and patrick's idiocy everyday, I would probably shoot myself too.  |
