=3 Any Utena fans around here? ^^ Utena is Inu's favorite manga and one of her favorite animes. i highly reccomend it if ya haven't seen/read it, the plot rocks. and....there's Chuchu! *huggles Chuchu*

Utena is fun because everyone seems to perceive the symbolism differently *laughs*.

But yeah, I love the both the show and the movie.

A word of caution to the curious though... it's INSANE with the symbolism and things you need to think about and figure out. But it's a fun way to spend some time.
Also, the character designs are very pretty.

I FINALLY saw the end to the series a couple of days ago by the way. This is because, I've been slooooooowly aquiring/renting this series over the course of a couple of years 0_0 .

I've never seen Utena. >_> Honestly...I've never really wanted to see it...the story doesn't seem like one that would interest me...but seeing from your remarks, maybe I'll try it, and I have heard it's pretty good...but I'd probably get to it in like...a very long time from now...

There are many other anime titles resurie wants to get first. ><

And I don't really like anime with it's type of design, yes it's nice...but I just don't really like it...o_0 It's the same with Excel Saga, while people say it's hilarious, I would love to see it, but...I just don't like it's design...>_>;;

^^ Resurie i didnt think Utena would interest me either, but i started reading the first manga and have been hooked ever since. Yeah the art is different, personally i like it, but its awsome. You really should give it a try ^^ o__o Inu lurves Excel Saga! o___o back on topic..Lovely-sama, your so lucky! I want to see the end so badly but there are so few Utena dvds around here its hard i have bits from everywhere around it x___X;;

Shouji Kakumei Utena is excellent. I see it as one of animes most bizzare. What seems like a very simple fairy tail is actually a complex journey through human nature and personal desires. I actually liked the series better than the movie, but the movies art can not be topped by any anime I have seen yet.

I also happen to think Utena is the hottest crossdresser I have ever seen..
