Okay,first off I will read anything by CLAMP because they are really great artists and their stories are the best.
Second,these are my newest favs from CLAMP.
XxXHOLIC is gothic chic combine with humor,style,occult,and action.It's art work is great and it's storyline is also awsome.It also crossovers with Tsubasa which can get pretty confusing sometimes.They say that you don't have to buy the 2 crossover books but it helps out a lot.
Also,Tsubasa,is another crossover bit with lots action,adventure and cool world hopping adventures.It also has a lot of humor in it,too.
My 2 fav charatcers from both books are Watanuki from XxXholic and Kurgane from Tsubasa.
Also the translation notes help out a lot in the back of the books and there are various sightings of CLAMP's past works in both these books,like Chi ear-headphones from vol.3 of XxXhOLIC,which uber cute! I wish they make them for real!
Tell me what you think of these 2 great stories from our fav CLAMP ladies!! ;D

I haven't read XxXHolic, nor have I read Tsubasa...  But, I've been meaning too...^_^;; Anyhooo~ you DO know they're going to be made into anime right? Argh, I'd post the site...but...what? Lazy? What ever gave you that idea! XD *cough* Yeah, I only have one browser open...>_>; I'll post it right away when I'm done posting around here. ._. |

Back in the day I used to be a "OBSESSIVE CLAMP FANATIC" but that has worn away a good deal and I merely like a few of their works. I grew dissalusioned by them, by the way, due to; Chobits, Angelic Layer, and Suki. Suki in particualr I really hate >_< .
It should be mentioned that my FAVORITE clamp manga is Tokyo Babylon . In fact, I have all 7 of the Tokyo Babylon books in Japanese ^__^ . This was before It got lisceneced by the by. Aaaah, the crazy days of reading manga with the translation script sitting next to you...
*cough* Anyhoo--
Yeah, I like Tsubasa and I LOVE xxxHolic. Tsubasa is o.k but... the fights take entirely too long. This will probably be better in anime form. Also, the constant cameo by CLAMP characters is cute at first but... it grows kind of annoying after a while. Cameo's are fun, but when it's cameo's for the sake of cameo's... meh. I've read up to book 3. 1 I really liked, 2 was o.k, and 3 felt a bit better. We'll see.
xxxHolic... I LOVE. I've read up to book 3. I suppose I just like supernatural stories? That, and Watanuki reminds me a bit of Manta ^^;. An older, taller, Manta XD. Well, I just like how the characters interact in this one. xxxHolic has a sort of Tokyo Babylon like vibe to it in the way that one the one hand it's a straight story, but on the other it's a sort of social commentary.
Visual wise... it's a bit like Clover, just not as intricate. A LOT of the use of pure black and pure white. It's very interesting to look at.
Anime-wise.
Tsubasa is going to have my favorite composer doing the music! Yuki Kajiura! I'll admit I wasn't that excited about the show until I heard about the music ^^; . Heh heh...
xxxHolic is going to be a movie and NOT a series. Bummer. Hopefully it will keep in tone with the manga series.

XXX Holic is lovely, but Tsubasa is overrated trash. t was the ultimat ego trip in my opinion.
