Viz made another graphical edit in Shonen Jump. An old guy getting shot in the head by 17 was replaced by an old guy getting punched in the face by 17.
I believe the reason the edit happened in the first place is that the censors felt that the scene would be too violent if the old guy was shot.

Well, I'm just saying... when I reported that Shounen Jump edited a scene in the Shaman King manga, I didn't have anyone rudely scream at me for a screen cap...
Moving on.
Viscious, maybe you should share this info with the AoD forums? You'll have more people verify it there (not so many DBZ fans in general here...) .

I never knew the guy got shot in the head. I was wondering why 17 didn't pull out his gun.
Did 17 shoot the guy in the anime? I thought I remembered Trunks saving him.

I haven't seen the Japanese anime. I haven't seen the Japanese volumes of the manga either but people on another forum (called Shonen Junk) said that it was edited. I noticed that the gun was still in the holdster when 17 held out his fist at the old man. |
