I agree. Chapter Black was probably the story arc with the least
amount of action but the most amount of story(so far). I was surprised to see how much the show could do a complete 180% from show completely about fighting to one that had large amounts of character development and depth. The current story in the anime(domestic, not Japanese, of course), is by far the most interesting though. It finally brings in the backstory for all the characters. It's probably the shortest of all the seasons, though.

Which is kinda why I figured the box set of this story arc would come soon. I mean, there was'nt that big of a gap between the release of Dark Tournament Box 1 and 2.
Oh well...

I hated Chapter Black, the story was very ick, and the episodes were boring.

I liked CB; it reminds people that violence isn't the only way for an episode to be interesting, and it makes you think.
On a random side note, the thread titel makes me think of that black box thing they have on airplanes.
