So, today I'm reading my Ruroni Kenshin manga when I noticed something written on the first page... Y'know where the editor or whoever tells a bit about the history of the manga-ka?
Well, they mentioned another of Watsuki's manga, called "Armored Alchemist..."
This wouldn't happen to have anything to do with a particular FULLMETAL alchemist, would it?? I mean, stuff gets translated differently all the time, right?
(Just out of curiosity, what the heck is an epiphany?)

From Dictionary.com because I'm lazy...
e·piph·a·ny ( P ) Pronunciation Key (-pf-n) n. pl. e·piph·a·nies Epiphany ~A Christian feast celebrating the manifestation of the divine nature of Jesus to the Gentiles as represented by the Magi. ~January 6, on which this feast is traditionally observed. ~A revelatory manifestation of a divine being.
~A sudden manifestation of the essence or meaning of something. ~A comprehension or perception of reality by means of a sudden intuitive realization: “I experienced an epiphany, a spiritual flash that would change the way I viewed myself” (Frank Maier).

I don't think Watsuki was referring to FMA when he mentioned that, since all of RK manga came out in Japan by 1999. FMA manga, however started its release in 2002, along with the anime a year or two later.
that's just what I think though. If Hiromu Arakawa was working with Nobuhiro Watsuki in the production of Rurouni Kenshin (just like Takei was part of the RK team), then he coulda gotten it then. Who knows?

Ahhhh thanks everyone. I have been enlightened. I actually pulled up a thing on FMA to see who the author was, but I figured pen names could change or he's using a penname for one and his real one for another...
But that's really complicated. (I'd do it just to confuse people ^_^)
BTW, since the question has been answered and this thing'll prolly be locked soon, I gotta ask......
How many posts do I hafta have to get 4 starts?

THATS THE ONE!!! I've seen that at the BORDERS nearby where i live! There is a section in the store that has imported manga and Buso Renkin is one of the titles. I thought it looked pretty cool, and I was able to read a few pages thanks to my Japanese lessons. The downside is that its $13 a pop, despite the actual price being 390 yen (about $3.60) ah well, now I know the manga that Watsuki was reffering to
