Who do YOU think is best, hmm ? I'm gonna go with Tomoe, even though she's dead (v_v), she kinda had first dibs on him.

Voted for Kaoru. ^_^ Tomoe sort of wanted to kill him at first. ; That bandit-lady? XD You mean Misao? I seriously don't know who those last two are...

No, not Misao(I should of put her in too though, I forgot v_v). The lady I'm thinking of came in during the first season, close to the end though (I think)

Who's Tomoe?? Btw, I voted for good ol' Kaoru. Another-BTW-that-is-sorta-OT: How does one pronounce Aoshi? Depending on how you want it to sound. First of all, to pronounce it slowly, it is "Ah-Oh-She", but they don't always pronounce it like that. Instead, they're more likely to use "Ow-She". Or, if they're really trying to make it fast, they'll pronounce it "Owsh". When it comes to sounds like "Ch" and "Sh" in Japanese, they often like to shorten them, so they may fit more into a character's mouth and such.

Oh, uh btw: you only see Tomoe in "Samurai X: Trust" and "Samurai X: Betrayal", which are the prelude to Rurouni Kenshin (ADV Films dubbed it though, so ALL the voices are different). I like "Samurai X: Reflection" the most. Because that takes place after the end of Rurouni Kenshin, it tells what happens to Kaoru and Kenshin.

EDIT!:About Tomoe (SPOILERS!): Tomoe was Kenshin's first love (they both loved each other), but Kenshin accidentally killed her, which is why he vowed never to kill again (once the Meiji revolution was over and it was the "Meiji" era). NOOOOOOO! WHY DO I ALWAYS READ SPOILERS?!?! I HATE SPOILING THE ENDING OR THE MAIN PLOT!
