brent weaver is the best voice actor adv has used i believe, that is probably because i love all the characters he does, especailly nabeshin!!!

Well, I believe we already have a thread for VA's, but not english ones...

Oh well... my favorite english VA's are:

The english Saiyuki cast; Greg Ayres, David Matranga, Illich Guardiola, and Braden Hunt. And Vic Mignogna.

Where you may have heard them:
Braden does Souji's voice in Peacemaker.
Illich does Krad's voice in DNAngel.
Greg does Satoshi's voice in DNAngel.
Vic plays Dark in DNAngel, as well as Tatsunosuke in Peacemaker, and Edward in Fullmetal Alchemist.

Um... I think I'll let this thread go. The other thread is more specificically for JAPANESE voice actors, as opposed to English VA's. I think as long as the threads have that distinction that they should both be kept open (unless there is another thread for English VA's.... I can't recall.). That being said:


Lovely's fave english VA's.

-Crispin Freeman! Good god yes. This man has a wonderful voice. He's also a great actor who can play both crazy and calm. He would of made a magnificent Faust in mankin.... *sigh*

--Greg Ayres:
He has SUCH a cute lil' boyish voice! He plays Chrono in Crono Cross by the way. Both forms interestingly enough (that was a surprise to me.)

--Mona Marshal:
I just love her boy roles. Sooooo cute.

--Brianne Sidall:
Also famous for her male roles. She played Tsukasa in .hack//SIGN. Her regular voice does indeed sound like Tsukasa by the way. *laughs*. Also has a cute boyish voice.
Her BEST acting is done in the PS2 game Xenosaga II. She just did some great work with Jr there.
She was fun as Mithos in Tales of Symphonia too ^^ .

Rachel Lillis:
Probably most known for playing Misty and Jessie in Pokemon and Utena in Revolutionary Girl Utena. She is a GREAT actor with a fun range of voices.

Hmmm... I have more fave VA's but I can't recall them at the moment.

Oh, on a personal level as well as an acting level I like Vic Mignogna. In live interviews he has such cute manerisms! He really seems to have fun with his roles too ^^.

Christopher R Sabat, for the fact that he can play voices as different as Kuwabara (YYH) and Ayame (Furuba). He also plays the voice of Kiyotaka from Spiral. I also like John Burgmeier's voice talents. He does the voices of Kurama, Shigure, and Eyes. He can actually do a decent british accent! *_*

EDIT: Oh my gosh! I forgot about David Gallhager! He plays Riku's voice!

Crispin Freeman is my favorite probably. He's awesome, and he plays alot of people. To name a few, Zelgadis on Slayers, Tsume on Wolf's Rain, Hideki on Chobits, Hanage on Super Milk chan, Touga on Utena, ...ok, in short he rules! And his voice is so sexy *_*

I also like~

Rachel Lillis- While her Misty/Pirika voices are a bit annoying, she was wonderful as Utena. Her voice was so pretty and soft and strong...i loved it. I think she played Chuchu too ;;

Michael Sinterniklaas- Horohoro! I love his voice, its just so cute.

Coleen Clinkenbeard- She plays Eclair from Kiddy Grade! And Riza Hawkeye on FMA. And others i'm sure. But i just love her voice, its so..cool.

Vic..i can't spell his last name!- I met him in person at the con i went to! ^_^ he's so cool. And i love his voice! He does Ed, Dark in DN Angel, and er...i think..Dextera in Kiddy Grade.

John Burgermeier- The pefect Shigure! And a good Kurama too. His voice is just fun.

Luci Christian-She is really good. She's played Amelia(Slayers Premium i think), Yukari(Azumanga Daioh), Risa(DN Angel), and i know she's played more, she is good. And great as Yukari XD

Jessica Boone-She did someone on Kaleido Star, though i don't remember who. But she's also done Chiyo on Azumanga Daioh and Azmaria on Chrno Crusade, her voice is so CUTE!

Veronica Taylor-I don't like her boy voices much, though her girl voices are cute! I liked her Yukino(Kare Kano/His and Her Circumstances), and as May(Pokemon), Amelia(Slayers), and she does Tamao too.

I can't think of aymore...But i also like Hilary Haag, Monica Rial, and Greg Ayres(really cute Daisuke and Chrono!)

I don't really know that many voice actors bar Scott Mc Neil, who voiced Piccolo, Android 16, Mr/Majin/Fat Buu, Dabura and many others for the Ocean DBZ dub, Duo Maxwell for Gundam Wing, Protoman for the old MegaMan cartoon and I don't know much else beside that.

Marc Diraison: Voice of Zoro on One Piece, but I like him as Guts from Berserk. And the Outtakes [Berserk] are the funniest things I've heard,

Example:

Marc (Guts): "By the way, Did you notice that Caska put on a dress [for the ball?]"

Kevin Collins (Griffith): "Did she?"

Marc: "Yeah........Life ain't nothing, but bitches, money"

You just have to see it for yourself!

Richard Hayworth: He does really good as Kenshin

David Moo: He brings out such powerful emotion as Sanji

I also like Eric Stuart, he has a huge range! How he can go from James to Kaiba amazes me to no end.
