She also played the voice of Ascot in Magic Knight Rayearth...
I've only watched the TV version of Tenchi, but I loved it alot! Ryo-ohki is so cool, and my friend has a plush of her!
I want the manga now...

Mihoshi actually had two english VA's throuout the whole um... Tenchi-verse U.S release.
I don't like Mihoshi in Universe or any of the t.v things. They dumbed her down too much, just to have Kiyone play the "smart cop".
I didn't mind Mihoshi in the OAV though.

I really have never liked Mihoshi much, even though she was a little more reliable in the Ryo-Ohki OVA's. Kiyone and her had only one funny part in Universe in my opinion, and that was the "Space and Time" story arc when Kiyone finally thinks she rid herself of Mihoshi. ^_^ That being said, I like all the Tenchi characters for the most part, I just like some more than others.

Tenchi? "Can't you see that I am a pioneer..."
I first saw Tenchi Muyo when it was airing on Toonami (Space is still the place), and then recently on the International channel. The TV and OAV series are both hilarious in my eyes, although I can't help but feel bad for Tenchi half of the time. I also love the theme songs, especially "I'm a Pioneer."
Washu-chan and Tenchi are my absolute favorite characters (everybody else falls in the second place line). I mean Tenchi's such a nice guy, but he's been called a dork and a loser on many of the fan sites that I've been on. He's a really strong individual who's stuck in a house with a pack of crazy women, Kiyone and Sasami don't count since they're the only ones who are close to sane, and he's constantly being thrown into battles even though he doesn't want to fight.
Long live Tenchi and Washu (not as a couple, it would be as chaotic as Ryoko and Tenchi)!!!!

I like it when songs are translated and dubbed well . I love the dub songs a lot, too. My fav of the dub songs is that song that played in the last episode of Tenchi Universe (I can't remember the name of it at the moment) and the dub of Alchemy of Love (from the first movie), along with all the Pretty Sammy dub songs. The only Japanese songs I've heard have been the Japanese Pretty Sammy Songs, the second movie ending theme, and Love Song Ga Kikoeru (from In Love 2). The third movie ending theme is just awesome.

I just finished watching all of the new Tenchi Muyo OVAs and sadly I have to say it was kind of disappointing. The first episode was just a recap episode and while I can understand why they needed a recap, did it really have to be 40 min. long? At least there was some new animation in episode one, so it wasn't a complete waste of time, but it didn't really mesh well with the clips of the older episodes because the new animation has really improved since the early days of Tenchi. It is kind of weird seeing a CGI Ryo-Okhyi in spaceship form, though. Episode two was a little better with the introduction of new characters and new surprises for Tenchi, and it finally starts to get more interesting around episode three, but the last episode didn't make any sense. When Washu screamed out "Don't try to think!" was she talking to the other characters or the audience? ^^;; The main problem I had with the new OVAs were they just weren't funny enough. It's not that there's not a lot of jokes in the new episodes.....it's just they're not as funny this time around. It was good to see the return of the Tenchi characters and that they had actually grown up some personality-wise by the new episodes, though. But now I'm not sure if I want to see GXP or not.....
