x_o W00t for a normal thread~ Un-muled x.x Has anyone here read or heard about PokeSpecial? It's the Pokemon manga, but wasn't released here. At least, most of it wasnt, i think only the first 7 volumes were. My friend is really into it, and talks about it all the time. So, being unable to read Japanese, i've been reading the chapter summaries at Serebii.net. They may only be summaries, but its pretty much like reading the thing itself, theyre good length and detailed, as well as enjoyable. I've currently just started on vol. 3, i'm in total love. *o* It's so much different and better than the Pokemon anime! Red is alright, he bothers me though. ><; Kinda gary-stuish. Meh, I've browsed through the site and the summaries before. You are right, the manga is different and more interesting. Until I go through all the manga, can't really contribute much to this thread yet so...

Ive got chapters 1-11 and they are really good. A LOT better than the anime.
Lt Surge actually tries to kill Red. (I hope that doesn't count as a spoiler) Which is something that would never happen in the anime. Unfortunately i can't get anymore of the chapters. ;_; I can't find them in any shops anywhere.
I LOVE Red's Pikachu. It can be really "evil" sometimes. ^^;;

^^ You should visit the link i put in the first post Yohmaru, the summaries are really good. Just like reading the manga...but without the pictures. Though at the end of each one, someone threw game sprites and stuff together to show a scene from the chapter, it's cute i think X3 Yeah...i'm almost done with vol. 3 now ^_^ ; Wow, the ending to the Mewtwo thing was....cool. XD; Another reason to love Pika-chan~ And yeah about Lt. Surge almost killing Red. ; Koga almost kills Green, and Sabrina almost kills Blue, too. o.o; *Blue fangirl* >3 |

Isn't this the Pokemon Adventures manga that they brought out over here? I got it from my public library once...
Although I wish they had've brought out the ORIGINAL Pokemon manga... Pippi and Pikachu fighting all the time is hilarious! Especially in the one where Togepi is born (which just happens to be in the ONE issue of KoroKoro Comics I have).

Yeah, i think Kiichi(my friend) said that's what it's called in English. o.o; She also said Green and Blue switch names in the English version. After reading all night, i'm in the middle of vol. 4, which starts the Yellow saga. *o* I love Yellow-chaaaan!!! X3 I still love Blue, but Yellow is so kawaii!! Blue's battle against 'Doctor O' in the semi finals upset me. ;o; She shouldve won!! >>; Red gets more and more gary-stuish. o.o; As i read through the last chapter of vol. 3, i kept finding ways i think he cheated. >>; Green shouldve won..or Blue...*shot* ^^;; Yellow is adorable. Read this people XD I swear you'll get hooked. |

And you will.... yoooouuuuu wiiiiilll.... he did everything freakin' RED did for her(save her and help her catch a pokemon).... and ALSO taught her everything she knows about pokemon. o.o;
