Oh come on.
I just watched that, it was FINE. The voices didn't hurt your ears, in fact, i think they pronounced Naruto perfectly. And you know what? I thought his voice was pretty cute.
There was nothing wrong with that clip at all. -.-;

Atleast he sounds pretty young. Naruto is 12, right? I'm 13, and I know 12 year olds that sound like that. I know THIRTEEN year olds that sound like that. Atleast they didn't give him Darth Vader's voice. -.-

You know, as much as I love Naruto, these repetitive threads are getting annoying. I'll leave Lovely to decide if this one should be locked or not.
As for the voices, for the love of God. They're FINE. So they're not extraordinary or SUPERCLOSEOMGZ to the original. I think you're overlooking the fact the voices themselves are GOOD. Maybe not the best for the characters, but dammit, they're good voices! >\ In my honest opinion at least.
And if you attempt to kill me, I'll chainsaw you before you get the chance.

Sorry Dan, but I'm with gonna have to agree with Inu on this one... YOU'RE FRIGGIN OVERREACTING!!!I think the voices were pretty good from what I've heard so far. That WAS in fact the original music in the background. Naruto sounds just like his age. AND we got to see a little bit of blood  . It's okay if you don't like the voices, everyone has they're own opinion. But "this is what hell sounds like?" C'mon this isn't the 4kids One Piece! Take it easy... On a side note, I do want to thank you for tracking down a dub clip of the show, I've been looking for one for a while. |

Hate to have a dirty mouth, but shut the f**k up. I can't stand when all what people can talk about the dub is how bad it's going to be.
Naruto's voice is good, I like Iruka's voice, it's just that Mizuki's VA doesn't show a lot of emotion. And look, blood and the original bgm, things are looking well.

God I really hate you all Naruto fanboys. I really hate how Naruto is pronounced in english too.  The voices are fine, Naruto's a bit too high-pitched though. |

It may not be PERFECT but at least they aren't giving us something like dub One Piece. And, just because its not totally perfect, that doesn't mean its "zOMGWTFBBQTACONOOO THE END OF THE WORLD!!!1132435" Be happy it's here at all, and 4kids didn't get it. Another thing, why judge so harshly when you haven't even SEEN IT YET. x.o Seriously, save the bashing till you see it, and maybe actually have something to complain about. >>; Ok, i'm done now. |

Well, of course I'm locking this thread because it's redundant. But I'll add some thoughts first.
When I first saw the title of this thread, and then read the first post, my initial thoughts for my reply was-- "We already have a thread where people bitch pointlessly about the upcoming dub."
However, the rest of you seemed to have covered my thoughts pretty well XD .
I think Naruto's voice is cute ^^. Adorable even.
To Mr. Lobster complaining how "Naruto" is pronounced. Um... that IS how you pronounce "naruto" 0_o .
Though, I've heard some english fans in the past call in naRUto, which is just wrong.
Heck, that clip made me happy just to hear an english dub FINALLY learn that they don't need to overpronounce the middle sylble.
As a side note, considering that Naruto is an action show, that clip... didn't have that much action *laughs*.
