I'm starting this thread to help people (and myself) find the oft hard to find Japanese anime. For instance, does anyone know where I can purchase Japanese Digimon series (season 4 preferably, although any would be great.)? I haven't been able to locate these on ebay, although I did find a few seasons in English (one of which I purchased). I don't care if there are subtitles. I can use the dub as a loose guide. Who knows, maybe listening cluelessly to Junpei hitting on Izumi will teach me some Japanese. I wanna hear their voices ^^.
Anyone who is looking for or knows where to find Japanese DVDs (or VHSs) can post about it here. Maybe we can help each other find those originals. Hope this works out!

Not sure whether this thread is ok to keep or not. So I'm not going to lock it, but I am going to move it to anime. I'll let Lovely decide on whether this should be locked or not. As a side note and a reminder. Please do not post links to bootlegs. Also, do not post links to licensed shows to download. From the SKU rules: 6. No asking or posting links to liscenced material. Because of the nature of this site, It tends to get watched by several online communities. Because of that I would like to keep the board LEGAL at least.

Um... Saturn? Not to argue... but I know Usagi personally... and trust me, she might be the only person in the world with -too- many morals. I believe she meant legitimate Japanese imports, or a licensed version...

It is directed at everyone, not just the original poster. Sorry, but the thread left it open for people to post illegal material, I'm reminding people before they decided to post.

NYC: Books Kinokuniya, Ashaiya, HQ Video (mainly rentals, couple sale items, tv shows with commercials), Book Off (used books, CDs, movies and DVDs... as well as some unused ones.) HQ is where I got raw Digimon episodes.
LA: Asaiya Express and Video Jun (rental) are located in a shopping center on Sawtelle and Olympic that's also got a Japanese supermarket. Little Tokyo downtown's good as well... my visit early this year netted me the conclusion to Sakura Sensei.
San Francisco's got several places to buy videos and CDs as well.

Thank you Overalfangirl-san, Saturn-san, KuroiInu-chan. (thank you for defending me xx;) Sorry, everyone. I didn't mean to leave it open. I meant something legal. I even feel guilty about getting things off of ebay... *sweatdrop* Soo... Overallfangirl-san, do those stores have on-line counterparts? Hmm. How to get to LA or NYC... But yay! Possibilities for original Japanese Digimon!

For instance, does anyone know where I can purchase Japanese Digimon series (season 4 preferably, although any would be great.)? There is a fansubbing group who did the entire "Frontier" (season 4), 6 episodes of "Adventure" (season 1), 13 episodes of "Zero Two", and 4 episodes of "Tamers" (season 3) fansubs from the japanese DVDs, the group is "WPP", or Wolf Pack Productions, I won't give any links, but what they do is they drop it when a DVD comes out in japanese uncut w/ english subtitles, it's dropped. IE. They do licenced stuff, but not if it's on uncut DVDs, as all of the Digimon series aren't, they sub
