So, I just finished watching the Original Series last night. One thing to say about the ending; It seemed incomplete, Though the thing with Suigin Tou DID make sense of her obsessiveness.
Onto the anime itself.
At first, it started off pretty slow, though most good anime do, but it definetly picked up pace towards the middle of the series (Twelve episodes in all).
This originally came off to me as a gothcake anime beacause of the general idea of the characters being cursed dolls, and seeking perfection in the form of 'Alice'. But to do that, the dolls have to fight eachother to obtain all of the 'Roza Mystica', only then will they be able to become Alice, and meet their Father (Or in other words, their maker).
The visuals are nice, very good level of detail..then again, Would you expect anything less from an anime surrounding dolls. And I personally liked the music; very nice blend of Classical music and rock..The battle themes kicked major ass.
If you like a nice mix of Supernatural Drama and lighthearted humor in your anime, or just think Suisei and Sousei Seki are cute; Watch this anime, NOW.
I just hope they wrap things up in the Rozen Maiden 'Traum' series.
