2 months ago, my friend told a place to buy manga. I did and I got: - Tokyo Mew Mew (<3 it!)
- .hack//Legend of the Twilight (dusk or udeden, whatever you want to call it)
- Chobits
So far, I love .hack for its cute style and Tokyo Mew Mew's art style ^_^ I didn't realize Chobits was 16+ until I got out of the store ^^; but I think the story's nice (the ecchi creeps me out though...). I was wondering what other manga I could get. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance! ;D *predicts I'll have no money left soon, from buying too much manga instead of buying school things*

Well, Death Note is a really good one if you like mystery/suspense thrillers and not frightened by Shinigami XD.
Theres also the Fullmetal Alchemist manga, Hunter x Hunter if you're a Yoshihiro Togashi fan. The One Piece remains orginal and total 180 to the god-awful dub, and although its not truley a 'graphic-novel' the novel .hack//AI Buster is really good too!
Though I guess it all depends on your personal tastes.

MAHOU SENSEI NEGIMA. >\ Otherwise known as just Negima!, or Magister Negi Magi. ;; It's 16+ though, it was made by the same guy who did Love Hina, so there's a lot of perverted scenes here and there. ^_^; But I assure you, it OWNS YOUR SOUL. Dx *shot*

I definately would suggest either Naruto or One Piece if you like fighting manga. They both also have very good stories and characters (don't down One Piece beause of its sucky dub).
If you're more into historic manga... I can't give you any names besides Rurouni Kenshin.
Can't think of any at the moment, I'll be back later...

Well... since you seem to love the cuteness and magical girl story of Tokyo Mew Mew and also since you seemed to like the story flow of Chobits, I would suggest the Cardcaptor Sakura series. One of CLAMP's (Chobits) better works in both art and story, with that magical girl flair.
Besides the cuteness, What kind of story's (regular books, TV) and anime do you like in general CrystalStar? Romance? Fantasy? Action? Do you prefer stories with a quick pace? Or do you like things that take thier time?
What sort of things do you strongly dislike?
Knowing these things will help me make some more suggestions to you ^^.

Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch is coming soon. It's going to be just Pichi Pichi Pitch, but I'm in love with the anime so i'd say check out the manga if you can. It's supoosed to come this summer. It's magical girl and cute like TMM, so you'll probably like it. :3
I don't know if you've read it since it's so popular, but there's Fruits Basket.
I highly reccomend Full Moon wo Sagashite. I'm in so much love with it. X3 It sounds kinda corny at first, but then you read it and just fall in love~ And another manga by the same author is Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne, i'm starting to read that and I really like it so far. =D
Some others i'll reccomend are Psychic Academy, Revolutionary Girl Utena, Zodiac P.I., Negima, Death Note, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Bleach.
:3 Hope that helped~

Rozen Maiden just got licensed by Tokyopop. It's a supernatural manga based around living dolls. :] You might like that. Though I'd reccomend just buying the raws myself. Tokyopop's bound to assrape it.
It's pretty cutesey, considering Peach-Pit did the art, but not so much that it's the only appeal of the series.

I think you may like Bleach, so check that out. And One Piece, can't forget One Piece.

I prefer urban or horror/occult manga. If you're looking for something cutesy, you may as well skim over this, but if you want to give something with a bit more dark matter a try, just as an experiment....:
D.Gray-man (occult/horror/shonen/crack cocaine): My current favorite manga. It's an absolutely delicious piece of work with good characters, plot twists, and even better art. At times grim, and at other times hilarious. And I don't just throw 'delicious' around, trust me. It's a wonderful fandom to be into, but it's also constantly overshadowed by other Jump series like BLEACH or Naruto, sadly. Very sadly. Hoshino Katsura really knows what she's doing with this one (it's also suggested that she worked under Takeshi Obata....[illustrator of Death Note]).
SWITCH (drama/shonen): Also a favorite of mine. It centers on an organization involved with drug-busts and regulating traffic of illegal substances.
Peacemaker Kurogane (historical/drama): Is pretty nifty. I enjoy it far better than any other portayal of the Shinsengumi in manga. Historical.
However, to feed my overwhelming girly side, I'll still pick up Shojo Beat. Give that a try, you may like NANA or something.
(coincidentally, this is also pretty much an almost complete list of 'the only manga i'll touch with a ten foot pole.')

Magic and stuff! I love humor though, humor doesn't hurt On my last trip to Hong Kong, I got those comic books with collections of manga (like Shonen Jump) and saw a bit of Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch. I'd say it's cute ^^, too bad I don't live in America *curses UK's lack of bookstores that sell manga* I'm going to keep a eye out for all your suggestions and see if the bookstore I go to actually has any others. Arigatou! * plans to barge into bookstore and demand all manga for free* I actually need to go to the bookstore, one of these days... problem is, it's an hour trip from my house

You. You said fantasy. Get Fushigi Yuugi. Do it. D:
And... Negima. Yes, this is the third person to suggest it.
Alice 19th was really good, too.
::looks at book shelf xD:: Um... DiGi Charat, Fruits Basket, Land of the Blindfolded...
Uhhh... JUST RAPE A BOOKSTORE. DX

First off, Harukanaru Toki no Naka de ~Hachiyou Shou~. There's 10 volume so far, and the series is still going. I have to get myself volume 10, because 9 left off very evily (poor Eisen-sama!!). No, it's not available in English, and I don't think there's any translations available, but...
As for stuff in English...
.hack's already been mentioned, as has BLEACH. Ayashi no Ceres (Ceres: Celestial Legend) is really good, and the final volume is coming out in English soon (there are a few objectionable scenes, though). Chrno Crusade is also a REALLY good one, although there's no release date for volume 7 yet. Magic Knights Rayearth should be right up your alley, and Saiyuki is always good, (volume 2 of RELOAD just came out). I'm sure Lovely would agree with me that Suikoden III is really good, as well. Finally, there also is X and Yami no Matsuei, although both tend to have yaoi hintings in them.
